Not quite. The winner has no choice as far as I am aware. The others can get out, but if they refuse Syco they have to wait a certain period (rumoured to be the end of the tour in March) before they do anything.
It's tricky though. If she is signed, I expect it to be with Sony, but probably (and hopefully) it will be RCA and not Syco.

I would imagine Syco have an option on certain of those other than the winner, which would have to be taken up or waived within a certain time. The contestants would have had independent legal advice before signing such an agreement, otherwise it could be deemed "restraint of trade" and thus invalid.

louis was a judge on irish popstars, and the winners were signed by cowell, you saw him on irish popstars, showing "six" potiential songs, he definatley signed them.
he took them on cause he rejected the original popstars, and realised hear'say initially sold and got involved with irish popstars
