I thought Jodie's was better, more lively, better kicking and leg action. Brendan made a big thing about the 8's.

It wasn't. Not enough bounce, and her posteur was awful-all hunched over, but she tried hard

How good was Lisa's Jive? Unfortunately, not very... .

The music choice was horrendous, which didn't help!

It wasn't fabulous - but then neither was Jodie's. It seemed to have more content than Jodie's though.

Not great. I still don't understand why Brendan got so upset about 8's.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I thought her legs were really untidy, and her upper body didn't have enough control. The routine wasn't as emtertaining as Jodie's, but Lisa did as-good a job.

Brendan's getting a bit long in the tooth for teenage strops though, don't ya think? I bet poor Lisa could have done without that. Good on Tom for lightening the mood.

She was very flat footed too I thought.

I agree with you her dance wasn't that great. Before tonight I would've said that would have been a great jive track but it didn't seem to work.

She was lucky to get 8's.

I felt Lisa really struggled.

I thought she was quite badly overmarked actually, at most I thought it was worth a 7.

'Orrible!!! her and and that spoilt brat partner of her's seem to think it was something wonderful though How infantile is he fgs

Actually she reminded me of a somewhat enibriated guest at a wedding reception. In fact I've seen better jives at weddings. Sorry, but I won't apologise.

It wasn't a great jive and the judges were overly kind and generous - if Christine had put in a performance like that, she'd've been pulled to pieces for it.

But Brendan's behaviour was ridiculously petulant, and the penny might drop with those commenting on Lisa's apparently low public vote that the reason she may not be getting the votes might have more to do with her dance partner than it has to do with her. He certainly didn't do her any favours tonight ...

Pretty dire, and overmarked

I preferred Jodies (not that it was perfect, but it was better than Lisa's)

Agreed. I am glad the old Brendan is back showing his true colours..what a total ***hole that guy is.
He complains about marks of 8 for a dance that was mediocre at best, conveniently forgetting that they have been over-marked throughout the series.

And how many posters above are either dancers or dance teachers????

The Jive was full of content and her performance was well above a certain other female celebrity in the contest, she may not have been as good technically but she certainly put some character to the dance!

Saw a bit of the old Brendan on Celebrity Love Island, and they recorded him telling tales behind other people's backs and saying how he thought they were really awful (his honest opinion of them) - which was really embarrassing for him when he was exposed and the tapes were played to the other people on the island. A case of a person who opens his mouth and speaks before engaging his brain.
