It'll be interesting to see just how many of you adored Nicole .

I thought Nicole was a lovely woman, but I'm afraid I found her routines forgettable.

I'm not looking for any negative comments on Hayley, who was the professional replacing her. This is just a Nicole based thread.

So, were you a Nicole fan and do you miss her?

Loved her, my favourite pro on Strictly ever.

I've got all bar one of John Barnes' dances and watch them regularly. The rumba she and Matthew did to Wet Wet Wet is my favourite pro dance ever. I've really missed her in the pro dances, especially the jive.

I think she is the best dancer among the female pros too!

No. Can't remember a single thing about her or her dances.

I didn't really take much notice of her before she left, and I did have to wrack my brains when looking at this years line up to work out which pro was missing. However, I do sympathize with those who did really adore her, and loved her as much as I love Ian, as I know it would almost be enough for me to turn Strictly off if Ian wasn't part of the line up.

Blimey where did Nicole suddenly pop up from I thought she was still in the cupboard at the BBC.

I was amongst the 'angry of Sutton Coldfield' brigade when she was dropped but I have to say Kristina and Brian (not so sure about Hayley) have been a breath of fresh air and I wouldnt really want Nicole back now (sorry Nicole as Matthew is obviously really missing you).

I thought she was really good and have missed her - though Brian and Kristina are good. I did wonder if she was "got rid of" so Karen Hardy could partner Matthew in the professional dances? Bbut maybe that is just coincidence.

I think that IS what happened........can we get rid of Karen and have Nicole back.

I think they got rid of Nicole because she never got very far in the competition and they wanted some fresh faces.

I don't ever think about Nicole unless I see a thread related to her, so I can say I find her...forgettable.

BTW, what a refreshing thread this is after all the spoilers infecting the board.

I would think that is a coincedence. It's very difficult to get rid of Matthew and Karen as they have been champions. There's no reason if Nicole came back that Karen couldn't dance with Brian (as she has done for the last couple of weeks) and Kristina could dance with Brendan. Or they could chop and change partners as they have done for the last couple of series. Nicole danced with Vincent and Brendan last series as well as Matthew.

Or they could get rid of Flavia and Nicole could dance with Vincent. Only joking.

I thought she was nice and seemed to have no ego. She simply did the best that she could with the dancers she was given. None of her dances remain in my mind, but as I say I thought she was nice.

I saw her on the live tour and she was partnered with Chris Parker. She joined in the fun and let him and his "paso doble" steal the limelight.

She really was among the best pro dancers, IMO. Maybe not in terms of teaching - though I don't feel she was ever given a partner who she was really able to "wow" us with. In terms of being a pro dancer, she was stunning. Her jives were always outstanding!!

I like her dancing and her partnership with Matthew was stupendous. But, personally, didn't think she shone. I think she probably suffered from being perfectly pleasant, but not an exaggerated persona - understated / unmemorable doesn't work on tv. Had Matthew not won, I suspect he might have been for the chop, too, though he's a great dancer; arguably, (not just personal opinion, but on his record), the best. His personal 'journey' with Alesha gave him a hook with the viewing public. Nicole never got far enough for her personality to win through. Better to be bad boy brendan or boo hiss villain James Jordan to get an immediate impact on strictly: people get polarised. Polarised sells.

Yes Nicole is one of my favourite female dancers. I really miss her and hope she will have a chance to get back to Strictly. To me Matthew is the best dancer and their chemistry is fantastic. I miss her especially in the pro dances where she outshines most of the others (personal opinion). It's a shame she never got a celeb that has a chance to go further than week 4 or so. We didn't really got to "know" her.

Having seen her dance live with Matthew only makes me miss her even more.

Yes... she just got with it and worked hard. Sadly that wasn't enough to make her stand out. I wish she could have had one really great partner before she left

Yes, undoubtedly. She was a fantastic dancer, the best of the female pros. She suffered from never having a very good dancer to work with. The pro dances are worse without her - the partnership with Matthew was a highlight from me. And having gone to a workshop of hers, she is a great teacher too.

She was definitely the best female pro, and her choreography in the pro dances was great. She never got a celeb partner who she could really show off. I'd like her back, as I feel Matthew misses her

I loved her to bits and I miss her absolutely loads from this series! That's all I can say, really.

Nicole was a world class dancer and her performances with Matthew were just outstanding. The actual finish they put on the dance was just class. There is no female dancer who dances to her level. She is missed badly and I wish the BBC would bring her back. Brian and Kristina are very nice Haley very forget able. Nicole sheer class.

I really liked Nicole. Unfortunately she never got a really good partner. I think that the BBC tried to give her one i.e. John Barnes but he didn't live up tp expectations.

I will always be a fan of Nicole - her dancing AND as a person. Strictly Come Dancing hasn't been the same this year without her. Can't wait to see her dance with Matthew at Dukinfield again next year!

I miss Nicole. Hayley isn't nearly such as good a dancer, and Nicole is a delightful lady to chat to. I'm sorry they left her out this year.

I am a huge fan of Nicole's and have been ever since last season. She was stunningly good in the pro dances and I do actually think she was a very good teacher. Watching this year's salsas makes me realise just how good a job she did with John Barnes both as a teacher and a choreographer. I do so wish she could have been given a really good partner to show fully what she is capable of.

That being said, having had the pleasure of seeing her live on more than one occasion, she is far, far more beautiful in life than on television, something which I suspect was a disadvantage in terms of Strictly. I would love to see her back dancing with Matthew again. Their partnership is breathtaking and, while I have been very impressed with Brian and Kristina, I do feel that something has been lacking from this year's series without it.

Nicole was totally hot. I fancied her loads.

At least there's still Lilia.
