There was nothing about her that drew my attention. Perhaps with a good partner once she would've had more fans.

Nicole is a fabulous person, and a wonderful teacher. SCD has lost something by not having her in the line up. The pro routines lack something without the inclusion of both members of the Cutler partnership. The magic created on the dance floor when she and Matt perform is second to none.

Nicole does not play to the camera. She has never been interested in developing false story lines to ensure she is in the media every second. She is the ultimate professional, and I miss her.

I wouldn't have said I was a huge fan of hers, but God, I miss her in the pro dances (no disrespect to Brian and Kristina).

I think she was fabulous loved her dancing with Matthew (Karen doesn't gel as well for me,sorry)and I was always very disappointed she didn't get better celeb partners allocated to her

Did I like Nicole - yes most definately. A very talented dancer who got paired with weak partners and hence could not show her skills off in the same way as the Lilia's and Erin's of SCD have.

She has a passion for dancing which I love - do you remember John's salsa and the comments from the judges - so I would challenge anyone to say that she is not a good dancer or choreographer. She is a very emotional person -n which was clear the first year with Diamaurd and also how many tears were shed when Matthew won! Also a great sense of humour (had to be, paired with Chris on the tour!)

I miss her partnership with Matthew the most and am stick Youtube-ing her pro dances from previous years.

Do I think she will be back? - No, unfortunately. The NOTW article killed that chance I think, and Brucie just keeps reminding us of that week-in and week-out with the highly annoying "Doddery joke" (personally I could belt him each and every time he says it and Tess gives the polite laugh...

So, would love to see her back, but don't think it will happen.

I miss Nicole more as a professional partner with Matthew and those two dancing together rather than her dances with celebrities..but I think thats mainly because she never really got anyone who was final material

However her and Matthew together were amazing, my second favourite couple so yes I miss her lots

I miss Nicole in the series very much and feel that she would have been a great partner for Austin. She has never been given a partner who could really shine. I particularly miss her dancing with Matthew in the pro dances and hope she comes back next season. Their partnership is outstanding. Perhaps they will give her someone who has more chance of staying around in the competition for long enough to give the public a chance of seeing her work.

Absolutely. Nicole is, alongside Karen, the most talented and successful of all the female dancers.

I thought she was wonderful with John who was not the most talented dancer but she got the best out of him I thought. Her Latin choreography was tailored to his laid-back style of dancing (their Salsa and Jive are some of my fave dances of that series) and the Ballroom was kept simple but hampered by the height difference.

I would love to have seen her dance with Austin to see what she is really capable of celeb-wise and the pro dances are really missing her choreography and ability.

It's a shame the producers prefer the rubbish that came out of James Jordan's mouth than a less attention seeking person who just got on with the job and did it much better and with much more talent.

Hear Hear! Agree with everything said in support of Nicole but quoted you Chauncy since you were the last to post
and particularly agree with the above.

Nicole is a fabulous person and incredible dancer, her partnership with Matthew is phenomenal. I think they have been missed badly in the pro dances and also the dances to the guest singers - how many times do we have to watch Darren/Lilia or Vincent/Flavia
I really don't think she was given the chance to shine in the competition - she is not naturally an 'in-your-face' person, but this is no bad thing

Nicole was definitely missed this series.

I loved Nicole and am still a huge fan. Nicole is an extremely talented dancer and teacher who gets the best out of her pupils through encouragement, enthusiasm, laughter and patience, much like Matthew. The results with her celebs show that, she had the diasdvantage of being paired with the more rhythmically challenged but she turned John into a dancer.

The pro dances (especially the Latins) lack her and Matthews chemistry and talent, their partnership was always great to watch and having seen them live can say there is nothing better than watching them dance together.

Perhaps the producers thought she looked a bit old or lacked sex appeal. They couldn't have dropped her on dancing criteria.
The producers value the draw of celebrities on the show and not the dancers. Notice how former winners didn't get very hot partners this year. They must have thought a "New Zealand's Sexiest Woman" and Mark the Olympic swimming "God" would be a dream team instead. It just didn't work out that way...

I'd rather have Nicole back than say... Hayley Holt for another year. However, I think Kristina and Brian have been very good additions to the show.

I thought Nicole was a lovely woman, but I'm afraid I found her routines forgettable.

I'm not looking for any negative comments on Hayley, who was the professional replacing her. This is just a Nicole based thread.

So, were you a Nicole fan and do you miss her?”

Not a fan, but I didn't dislike her. However, for me she never produced a "wow" dance; I cannot actually recall any of her dances (not talking about pro dances).

In answer to the original post, I too have always been a fan ( you have only to see her performances in Burn the Floor), am currently a fan, and always will be a fan. Best of all, I love to see her dancing with Matthew. What a partnership!

I think both her and John Barnes were like that they didn't moan or give sob stories, they just got on with. I think between them they could out sobbed story antone on SCD5. But they only wanted the dancing to be judged.

Thats only one of the reasons they are my favourite Strictly couple ever.

Yes, I am a fan. She was the outstanding female dancer on the show, and seemed like a lovely person.
