I agree, and the details can also mean there's more there to discover on repeated viewings.

Could only be improved if Annie Lennox sang the song. Some have claimed that it was not sharp or staccato enough - I think this is just a load of monkey bollocks.
There's a soft, mellow element to the song so any sharper and the routine would have been out of sync with the music. Vincent's use of sharp and soft movements was right on the money (Len said as much).”
I thought it fit the music extremely well, and that's also something I've come to appreciate more as I've watched it again.

I loved both Zoe's and Rachels... but yeah each is very different in terms of choreography, style and music choice.”
I also liked Zoe's, and it was more what (most?) people expect when they think "tango". But I think Vincent's choreography was more interesting -- I'm pleased the judged "got" it -- and I like what happens when Argentine elements are mixed in. (My favourite tango last year was the one Brendan choreographed for Kelly.)

I thought the foot-click was a nice touch, and I didn't even notice it the first time I watched.

I thought they conveyed that very effectively. To me, that was the most memorable dance of the series.
Excellent post from
Erinfan, btw.
