Foundation advice
Hi everyone
I'm REALLY pale and find it so hard to find a foundation that's the right colour So does anyone know of any brands that do very light colours? It can be from a cheap range to a designer range.. I don't really mind 'cause it drives me mad having a completely different colour face ![]()

What brands have you tried?! I don't want to recommend something you have used already.

M.A.C might be your best bet. Or you could try Nicola Robert's Dainty Doll range on asos.com

I've tried the Dainty Doll range and didn't reckon much to it tbh. I've also tried most of the brands you'll find in superdrug/boots such as maybelline, loreal etc.
Not tried MAC though so I might go for that one. Just looked at their site and there are quite a few light ones. Thanks

Problem is.. are the cities listed the only places they do it? The nearest to me is probably Birmingham and that's about 2 hours away ![]() There's a HOF at meadowhall in Sheffield where I live though, so I might ask if they do it there next time I go ![]() Thanks btw! |

I'm very pale and had the same problem. I also have terrible allergies to lots of products. I use Chanel lumiere foundation as I am pale and quite dry. The shades are great and not at all orange!

I've got pale, sensitive skin and I've found the mineral foundations that have come out quite good - they used to be really dark, but have brought out lighter shades now. Maybelline do one called Rose Ivory that's the palest I've found, plus you can build it up gradually so it doesn't look cakey.

Boots No 7 Intelligent Colour Foundation is a fave of mine, I'm also very pale skinned and the lightest one gives good coverage, if your looking for a bit of colour then use the medium shade, it wont make you look orange, but it brightens up pale skin.

I'm very pale and I use Revlon Colorstay foundation in Ivory. It lasts all day, doesn't rub off on your clothes and doesn't need touching up.
I used the MAC one but it was very cakey and made my skin shiny. |

Marks and Spencer foundations are great. I use their All Day Foundation which used to cost an amazing £2.50 although I think it had gone up to £3 last time I bought one. I don't know who makes their make up but it really is good.

Bare escentuals do some really light colours. http://www.bareescentuals.co.uk/id/prod_id_90029.asp
Even their foundations for skin with more colour leave you looking quite pale as the idea is you add your colour with the all over face colour using it to shade/contour. |

In Superdrug the other day, I bought a Lancome foundation for 2.99
, but i find it blends so well, really colour adapting. I don't know how pale you are but if you find a really pale one in that it's worth a try!

I'll definitly try a lot of the suggestions here though, so thanks everyone
