Andrei with a good partner though mucks up the tour as he already has Clare waiting and here's only been Bonnie or Suzanne in Clare's class.

Clare has officially confirmed she isnt doing the upcoming tour, shes doing little shop of horrors instead... Suzanne however has confirmed she will be doing it.

Yes just read that. There were hints about Suzanne doing it as she was talking about time for another tour- wonder who is doing Chicago then......

She still may do the chicago tour... she may break it, do dome after some before or a stint after... i think shes doing other shows next year too anyway...

I was thinking of the main show at the cambridge. There were reports Suzanne was going back in October and then they got Aoife in in November after there were those reports that Suzanne was tired. There is a Chicago 2009 tour but I had missed anything saying who was doing that - Suzanne or Aoife are both worth seeing if they take the tour out - will have to watch who does get cast and what Suzanne may also be doing.

Clare seems to be in Little Shop of Horrors for 4 months....lack of willpower meant I just booked that too.....

Ya there is chance of that west end stint for next year id imagine and also maybe some other west end shows, but id say they'll be after the doi tour id say... and the chicago tour is a good possibility, we'll see. But she cant do everything, she needs to be careful she doesnt burn herself out again and she'll be planning a wedding as well and there might be another dvd and perfume as they both seem to have done really well so we'll see...

I'm putting a few pound on Ray Quinn as before X Factor he was a champion ballroom dancer (he judged Strictly Baby Ballroom iirc). Not exactly fair but he should be good!

I think Ray will make it far in the competition, Jessica too.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if we could have just one reality talent show (DOI/Strictly) that didn't feature soap actors/actresses!!!!!!

I'm not supporting anyone from the offset this year. (Last year I was supporting Chris, Suzanne and Greg and I stayed with them all series)

They'll just have to win me over.

Yeah, I do the same because I just don't know most of the celebs so it's personality and talent alone that does it! Although if I had to root for anyone it's T&D.

They are fabulous can't wait to see what new routines they have up their sleeve.

Gareth Gates was last years personality surprise for me. I really warmed to the guy he was very funny and like-able.

Looking at that list, Jessica Taylor is the one that could be the best skater of that bunch.”

This kind of quote does bother me a bit.

I don't want to sound mean, honestly I don't, but even if this is the final line-up, what did you guys expect? Jude Law, David Beckham or Kate Winslet signing up? Even if this is one of the more respectable reality shows, it's a bit difficult to get good stars for the show. Some people might have scheduling conflicts with other projects, some celebs are poor skaters, and some people just don't like the product. Also some top athletes may not want to participate due to scheduling or risk of injury. You get who you can get, and if it's retired sports people and out of work actors, that's who you can get, and that's what people enjoy. Alot of people like soaps so they get a kick out of seeing some of their favourite people on the show competing. I actually think that this is a respectable line-up, as I can identify many of them. (However I wonder if Metcalfe and Bissix will be competing together, as I read that one was replacing the other)

Besides, don't people watch SCD and DOI for the professionals anyways, and have the celebs be an added bonus?

It 'bothers you'. Chill, it's only a two-bit entertainment game show.

All I was pointing out that the celebs that repeatedly appear on reality shows get a bit tiresome. We have found out about them on the likes of Big Brother and here we go again ..... it's as if their hunger for fame is unashamedly desperate.

Not clear where else you would get people who were known from? The only actors who don't float in and out of soaps are in long running series or mega film stars or unemployed and not that well known and wouldn't want the job. After that you have sportspeople and there are not many wellknown females there. If you couldn't find or didn't want those, you would end up with the people who the music industry had used and then rejected, people famous for being on reality TV, models and TV presenters and not much else.

Hi, Hansue .

Strictly Come Dancing? I was very happy with the result.

Did you go anywhere nice ?

That is a shame. Michael was wonderful to watch .

I was happy with the result too. Thought Tom's showdance was great and I am glad he finished on a high.

I was on a caribbean cruise last year. I heard Michael was good so is is definitely back this year. I remember when he first started out and won a competition on a BBC1 programme - can't remember the name. Think Gaby Roslin presented it. I liked him then and I am pleased he has done so well.

I agree. Camilla and Tom truly deserved it .

Lucky you ! I didn't think he was fantastic, but the partnership between him and Melanie was a delight . I am really looking forward to his return!

... fairly sure I saw Zoe join the High School Musical Ice Show as a section on Blue Peter once ... as she had previous skating experience ... or am I totally imagining that?

... hope Andrei gets a good one if Clare's not free for the tour!
