Whats "stereo Bluetooth"?

I've been looking at phones, forgive the probably stupid question, but what is "stereo Bluetooth"?

I know Bluetooth is wireless connection, but what's "stereo" is it a upgrade or downgrade from normal Bluetooth?

Probably refers to wireless headphones that transfer data over Bluetooth using the A2DP protocol. I'm guessing the phone supports A2DP, you just need to get some bluetooth headphones - Motorola HT820 or Jabra 320s springs to mind.

An upgrade.

Normal bluetooth has only one channel (even though it can be played in 2 earphones). Stereo bluetooth is true stereo (and usually sounds ALOT better than normal bluetooth).

OK thanks. Wanted to make sure I wasn't getting "Bluetooth Lite"
