Until recently I always thought most people, and thought it was traditional to have custard on your Christmas pudding. But have found out that alot of people likes cream on their festive pudding.

Well of a fight with me OH and mother-in-law, we are having custard on ours, even though they would perfer cream!

So which will you behaving on your pudding this year?

We used to always have cream (or optional brandy butter) but never ever custard. It would never have occurred to me to try custard. Is that really something that people have with Christmas pudding? Wow - you learn something every day.

I'd far rather have the custard on its own really. I like custard, and I really can't see the point of Christmas pudding. We stopped having it about four years ago when we realised that none of us actually like it much.

Cream or brandy butter for me on Christmas Pud. Although I don't have Christmas pud unless I can help it as am not too fond of it.

Can't beat a good bit of custard on apple pie/crumble though, or by itself.

Could you not let others have cream if they wish and you can have custard?

I prefer cream on mine .

Never really heard of anyone having custard on Christmas pudding

I like either with my Christmas pud, the custard had to be cold though, I hate hot custard.

Ooh definitely custard, but on mine it has to be custard. Delicious, although unfortunately this Christmas I can't have pudding or custard (gallstones)

I'm a fan of custard on all the major British stodgy puddings.

But for the xmas pud - got to be cream. It mixes so well with the pudding itself.

I'm a cream fan but a good vanillary custard is good on it's own.

My OH loves custard tho, perhaps it is a Yorkshire thing

Who likes the skin?
