Camilla could have showcased Tom, who does have the hip movement, much more than she did. Erin has no more idea than the judges as to what makes a good Salsa.”

That is a very sweeping statement to make. The Judges do KNOW what they are talking about - and Ms Boag is a professional dancer. and understands perfectly what makes a good salsa. Brendan Cole is extremely juvenile, a bad sport, and does not accept that the Judges are there to judge. If he cannot accept what they say then perhaps he should not be on the programme. I, for one, would be extremely pleased if he and James Jordan were shown the door. It is not pleasant to watch someone behaving like a baby. Perhaps he should win the Golden Dummy Award and share it with his soul mate James Jordan.

Sorry but I find his attitude very hypocritical

He doesn`t mind being overmarked but woe betide if anyone else is.

He did say though that Len's 9 for their Salsa a few weeks ago was very generous.

Tell me anyone at anything who'll complain about being over marked?

The first time it happened Lisa did feel deserted, but now she knows he's not angry with her - he kept saying what a great Jive it was and how well she had done.

He was angry with the judges on her behalf and, rightly or wrongly, he was very angry, so the best thing to was get off stage before he said something untoward.

No-one, but why should he then complain at others being overmarked ?? - as I said `hypocritical`!

I remember how shocked he was when he got a ten for his cha cha cha. He was shocked because the dance wasn't a ten. He said on the ITT show noone's danced a ten dance and he doesn't agree with them handing them out so freely. He's a judge, he knows how to mark dances and he was right - there was overmarking, but throughout this whole series from the off it's been full of marking surprises to me, not just tonight. I'm pleased actually that Brendan's whinged, as it will spotlight why he thinks this. (Srry for Lisa of course !) But just going by the amount of conspiracy threads we've had in here, he's not the only one to have noticed this abundance of plentiful scoring this series. I think the 'most 10's' thread will show that to be true

I also think Brendan is a bit of an arse sometimes yes, but he's a good arse

The worst bit for me is when they were slagging off the Salsa and Erin walked past.

Nice one guys.

Brendan was a bit uncool stomping off and leaving Lisa with the camera on her etc. But I really thought that Tess didn't help the situation and seemed to be trying to escalate the situation when he first reacted to the judges comments and their scores, she seemed to want "bad brendan" to errupt. Which he did, but he only reacted because I think he was so emotionally invested in the dances on the night, after the Waltz he seemed to be almost crying. Whilst high emotions don't excuse what was pretty stupid behaviour, least he cares! His professionalism is usually shown through his excellent choreography of which he hasn't slipped up on, unlilke Erin!!

I don't agree with Brendan's behaviour - it was plain unnecessary. Having said that though, Erin hasn't been squeaky clean of 'slagging' either. I remember her saying that Zoe and Ian's Tango was not ten material and should never have got one. Seems it's par for the course...

For goodness sake - when will people realise that Lisa has only been in the dance off because she's not popular.

Personally, I don't like Lisa, and was gutted to see Austin go, but when it came down to the dance off, he was the weaker of the two.

End of.

I think the context is very different now though. We've had 3 or 4 series of "score creep". The handing out of 9 and10's is considerably devalued now. The position on the leader board is more important/crucial. So I personally fail to understand Brendan's "issue"....

Zoe was the first celeb to be getting 9's and 10's so early on in the competition. Previously the celebs would have had to have waited until the later stages to achieve a 10. (Back in the day getting a 7 was regarded as a good score....ah those happy days )

I've loved watching Tom and Austin etc being genuinely pleased when watching the others receive their good scores...whether these marks were objectively correct or not. It is possible to be passionate, competitive and NOT act like a twerp.

By Brendan standards, that was mild. However the judges would not be unfair to Lisa because of Brendan's outburst.

Lisa danced very well on Saturday night, I thought. She and Austin were pretty even but in the dance off she had the edge, so fair do's.

Multiple threads is this year's black, don't you know ~ 4000 JS thread, 5000 conspiracy threads, and a mere 74 spoiler threads this weekend alone.
