Austins AS was quiet dull, and not up to his potential in any way, and the salsa, was poor technically.

Agreed. I've always thought Austin was overrated.
Totally right result tonight. Austin peaked with his jive I think, and has been 'coasting' ever since. His AS was pretty dull; they always say how important the transition in and out of the lifts is - there was no transition at all in their lifts, they were more or less simply deadlifts.
Lisa's waltz was absolutely brilliant and knocked Austin's salsa out of the water.

I do think that Arlene's comment was very telling...the one about which dances people are doing each week playing such a role in the outcome.

that's the way this competiton works Lisa could of had the Jive early on but Austin's AS should have been brilliant going on his previous form and it wasn't
