Casper methinks you do protest too much, you seem to be having obsessive tendancies about Lisa which are belying your true feelings. The more you post on her the more convinced I am that you adore her..so please continue

I know Austin has twin baby daughters, but Lisa too gets up at 4 am; didn't hear her complaining of lack of sleep.”

Have you had twins? I have! Getting up several times a night at different times, worrying about them when they're sick is not the same as getting up at the same time every morning, with no other responsibilities. I have also got up very early on a regular basis, and found it a lot easier than the unpredictable nature of babies' sleep patterns.

thats rubbish.......they are killing the show.”

I disagree, I think Lisa has performed brilliantly lately, her first couple dances were abit stop and go for me but just recently her dances have been amazing.

I like Austin and can't talk about the show as I haven't seen it yet but just because one dancer personally to one person was great doesn't mean that everyone is going to like him. My mum thought he was totally boring and loves Tom, I find Tom boring and loved Austin, at the end of the day the its down to your own personal taste.

They judge on dance ability not the male totty quotient.

Oh, I don't think the judges were idiots for voting Austin out. I think they were right, even though I like him. I think the show has lost a lot of its sparkle though. Sadly Tom's shirts don't compensate.

Based on the dance-off, Lisa deserved to stay.

But I think the format needs altering at this critical stage of proceedings.

Austin had demonstrated a higher standard overall both across the weeks and on the night.

I agree, based on overall dance ability, Austin should have stayed

Really? Lots of people claimed that the viewing figures would fall drastically after John's departure and yet they didn't.

Sometimes, the show really is just bigger than the individual celebs. I imagine next week's ratings will keep in line with the rest of the season.

On the one who cries the least perhaps. Apparently its a good enough reason for some people not to vote for someone.

But the dance off isn't decided on overrall dance ability and to be honest that can also be a very subjective matter.

To be honest I dislike the dance off as much as anyone but those are the rules they don't change just because your favourite is there

Why bother to spend your money on voting if you're not that bothered? I won't be.

I agree. I was most upset when John left, but then I decided not to have another favourite and just to like them all! Actually Phil Daniels was my first favourite, so I thought it best not to have another and give them the kiss of death!

And you know what? I am really really enjoying everything about this year now. I can see when they dance well, and badly. Makes no difference, if it moves me I am there with them and enjoying it all. And I sometimes find I agree with the judges too! I think I might have not liked them for about a day or so after the John thing.

I know this might get me some flack, but hey I am a big girl now. Enjoy it! It is Saturday night entertainment telly!

With respect are you male or female? I ask because it's usually the mother who gets up with the children during the night etc etc, and whilst I agree Austin probably did have broken sleep I doubt very much it was him getting up night after night with them.

Lisa gets up at 4am every day AND puts in a full days work (which incidentally, she is the only one left doing) - let's not forget that Austin didn't have anything else to do all day BUT practice and perhaps catch up on his sleep...

Female, but we took it in turns as much as possible, given that I wasn't working, so I tried to do the ones in the middle of the night. I was still knackered all the time. I still think having children is more exhausting than having a long day job, as there is no let up ever unless you completely leave the house and even if you aren't always the one getting up. Mine are now about twice the age of Austin's oldest, so instead we have slamming doors and lots of shouting, but at least we get unbroken nights' sleep!!!

But you see Sid - Austin started off very well indeed, which left less margin for improvement. Lisa was initially a bit awkward and gangly but improved immensely, until she was on a par with Austin.

Journeys don't impress me - hate the concept - but last night Lisa's improvement enabled her to outdance Austin. imo of course.

I thought Austin's Salsa was better the first time around - very natural, although I thought he was very tight around the hips on the basic salsa steps. Too self-concsious the second time around because he was trying too hard to mak the hips work better - they did, but the rest of his body went tighter in compensation.

A terrible shame though because I wanted to see him in tbe final. Still, after last week's show at least we were always guaranteed 4 great couples in the final.

I'm very sorry for Austin and Erin, they were great, but I wish all the others well too.

I just dont like cheating and thats what the judges are doing. Lisa is an average dancer.....but as entertaining as dish water as some have said......so yes I will continue thanks......and vote for her.......no.

I hear you Ignazio!

But I'd disagree that Lisa has made the considerable improvements that people claim. She obtained very high marks for her American Smooth and Rhumba and they were performed right at the start of the series. She's just been a bit hit and miss.

Her Ballroom number was indeed magical, but her Jive was sub-standard, whereas Austin's second dance was not nearly as weak. That state of affairs should have more bearing on the outcome.

But he was the worst, it was a simple process! The judges put him bottom of the lead board because the others were better. Had the public voted for him in sufficient numbers he would have survived the dance off but they too must be "idiots" as you say! Again its simple, had they put him top of the viewers poll, he would have stayed but those idiots just didn't agree with you.

Just because you don't agree with the judges doesn't make it cheating.Lisa being an average dancer is obviously your opinion but others disagree with you, both sides have equal validity. Just because you repeat it more often doesn't make it true

Have you considered that people voting for Austin would also have had to have voted for Lisa as well to ensure that Austin would avoid the dance off, because of Austin and Rachel's relative positions on the leaderboard.

Nope.

Austin COULD have finished top of the public vote and still be in the bottom two. Such is the stage of the competition now. The judge's basically have more power than the public.

The judges have played the public by voiding their votes by over marking who THEY want in the final......as plain as the nose on your face.

The public are not supporting Lisa.....dance off three times. How many more times will it take to get the message. While someone the public does vote for I.E Austin is put out.

its laughable.
