What's your source for all of this?

Thank you, but I was hoping for a source other than '"a source told" in the Sun. Not a credible story and doesn't back up what the other poster said.

If its true i guess it kinda shows the jist of where the other posters post came from, which i however think was a bit out of order. For one thing we don't even know if its true, second Eoghan could be nothing to do with the split (if they have) and third even if Eoghan was the reason they have split, they are just kids who are most likely going to have many more relationships. If (and i stress the if) Diana and Eoghan have gotten closer during the competition then fair enough why shouldnt they be together? you can't help how you feel.

Couldn't agree more. Fact is, all we really know is what they've said directly and neither of them has said anything went on. And yep, they're just kids anyway.

I find it a bit daft when people use speculation to beat contestants with. If they don't like a performance, fair enough, but it gets a bit much when it's unsubstantiated gossip of the Diana-and-Eoghan-kick-puppies-for-fun kind.

Well done Diana, if you read this - you have handled the media hyeena-frenzy well and not let it get to you. Keep doing what your doing (Take Gary's offer!!) and congratulations on 4th place.

Well deserved.

No, actually, I wouldn't mind seeing it.

No smoke without fire, champ

My thought is that, given what has been presented to us and NOT denied, Diana's now-ex has been wonderfully supportive when many would have just said "f*** 'em" and attempted to salvage their own pride. He swallowed all the rumours and scuttlebutt about what was going on and stood by Diana and she apparently ditches him a mere 2 days after she gets eliminated?

It's only natural many might speculate that she wants to enjoy the short lived fruits of a fleeting fame that may not last long.

Hey - if it turns out that she's still with the guy and this is all tosh, I'll be the first to say "fair play". I wonder if you'll be so gracious if it comes out that she has dumped the ex and then perhaps you might accept that there is potentially a little bit of moral ambiguity here?

This is the tabs we're talking about. They specialise in blowing smoke.

That's all fair enough - earlier on you presented it more as facts than just speculation.

If the cool off period turns into a break-up, fine. They're both young and it happens. What I'm NOT keen on seeing is people believing that what they see from 'sources' in the press is gospel and extrapolating that from their keyboards to Afghanistan.

Otherwise, it's all good.

King111whatever I used the term "iconic" in reference to Diana's performance, and the fact that the song fitted her so well, and will be iconic FOR HER ie she will be remembered for this performance and she went out with a bang.

I'm also not arrogant and do not appreciate being patronised to, I just said that why have bitchiness in a thread like this? Unecessary. If you insult me again, you will be reported.
