How fabulous was it to see the delight on Rachel and Vincent's AND Tom and Camilla's faces when they both got through without a dance off??

You could see how much it meant to them all.

I really felt for Lisa and Austin but I do think it was overall the correct result. Very difficult at this stage.

Feelings seem to be running very high - it's been quite an extraordinary weekend on here. I just wanted to concentrate on the positive and say what a great semi final it's going to be next week!

Yeay Sid!

We never actually saw Vincent resurface did we? Methinks he may have been a tad emotional!

It was great to see these two couples, who always seem to have been playing catch up - either with the judges or the public, get rewarded for some sensational dancing.

Now, you know I'm a R and V fan but I think my fave non Rachel dance last night was definitely Tom's foxtrot. Heaven.

The reactions were great. Tom's always been emotional, but it's good to see Rachel beginning to loosen up and show the audience some feeling - not saying she hasn't been feeling passionate about it all along, just that at last she is beginning to communicate it.

I hope the audience have warmed to Rachel - I was never a fan of hers but I feel she's been fantastic this series. And Vincent is the master!

Ah, what a lovely thread, Mamaboogie! And I agree with you - really was lovely to see the absolute joy on both couples' faces. A definite highlight to a show that I otherwise had real reservations about. Here's hoping for more reasons for such joy in the weeks to come.

Finally a thread that is happy and positive!

I agree - it is so lovely to see the reactions when they get through especially Tom. Every week just before the results are read out he looks so scared and like he is going to pass out (or that's what it looks like to me! ) and then it is just so wonderful to see his reaction when he gets through. It is almost like he has prepared himself to be in the dance off. It really is a reaction of happiness at getting through and I for one am glad that he is now being allowed to just be Tom rather than there being the focus on the so-called rivalry with Austin and his wedding. he is a joy to watch

(I have to admit I didn't see Rachel's reaction but I did hear a loud woop/scream which I think was from Rachel, despite not really having warmed to her I am quite glad she got through, maybe she is finally starting to show her real emotions

Yay for positivity and happiness, if only it was like this all over the forum!

Agree with the OP

Roll on next week - it's gonna be a good one + I think it's really exciting that there is no obvious winner this year

Totally agree with OP - lovely reactions.

Thought Camilla was VERY sweet in running straight to Erin right at the end of the show, she looked genuinely devastated for her.

Aww, I love this thread. Tom and Camilla's reactions for the past two weeks have actually brought tears to my eyes! They just look so genuinely overjoyed to be saved!

Next week will probably see the best reaction ever from the couple who gets through, though it may be difficult to top Alesha bursting into tears in last year's semi! (I just pray that reaction will be Tom and Camilla's! )

I loved re-watching the reactions on ITT tonight!

Even better second time around!

(I'm still worried whether Vincent has recovered from the shock or not!)
