Did anyone else think Barry Manilow looked like he couldn't move his mouth properly because of all the plastic surgery he's had?

For most of Copacabana, his mouth barely opened, and was stuck in a sort of plasticy smile.

It was still a good musical number, especially with the pros dancing.

When did he ever look good? You can't beat nature.

I just thought he didn't look very well, that's all.

I thought this too, I wanted someone to get him a chair, his legs looked like they might give out at any moment.

I was wondering if he had Erin's teeth in?

And yet he sang live and the pro dance with Darren, Lilia, Ian and Camilla was one of the best I've seen in a while. great fun!

I agree, nothing wrong with the voice, it's his physical appearance which is concerning.

At least he was clever enough to bring his own band and singers. Good move.

Sadly, he's way past his best. Poor old Barry.

From the reviews I've read, his concerts are supposed to be amazing - if only I could get one of my friends to go with me

Both me and the hubby thought the same thing!

Well my wife and I thought it was by far the best show song/dance we've had all series. He totally joined in with the dancers - embraced the fact that they were dancing in front of him unlike many singers we've had. He is a total showman legs and facelifts notwithstanding. The bounce and joy of Copacabana was reflected well in the dancing of Darren and Lillia, Ian and Camilla, and you could see - even before the end that both they and Barry were acknowledging each other's performance and loving it.

I was never a fan of Barry Manilow, but having seen him on Graham Norton this week and tonight, I appreciate, for the first time, just how talented the man is. He looks frail and too thin, but he was very good natured and fun on the GN show, sitting at the piano and demonstrating how he started out playing jingles for adverts. He was really entertaining.

I missed Strictly to see him at the O2 arena on Saturday night. He was amazing, the best I have ever heard him sing! He maybe past his best with his looks (he is 64 afterall) but the man is still a wonderful singer. His talent is unparralleled.

Can't wait to watch the recording in a minute.

He's hardly a youngster - everyone ages.

I don't think looking good has ever been associated with Barry Manilow.

I saw that too, and thought the same. I've only really just discovered I'm a bit of a Manilow fan. But he came acoss as a fun guy, and seemed really personable on the GN show.

And I also agree with FarmLoon, I said to hubby whilst watching the results show tonight, that I thought it was the best guest appearance we've seen all series! He was clearly loving it!

Flipping eck! Plastic surgery or not (for you've got to have the right bone stricture to work with initially) the guy looks great!
