yep, I go back on what I said - she now has a chance. She can perform a dance as well as dance a technically precise routine. I think she will now get more public support, but if it's her against Tom, in the final (good bet), very hard to beat Tom even if the judges place her top (which they will).

But she has a chance. it's not impossible.

I think she will go on to win it.

Unfortunately...sorry I don't really mean that. I do like Vincent.

I think Tom has it in the bag.

But I think Rachel would make a worthy finalist. She's given us some of the most memorable dances of the series and is the only celebrity thus far to achieve absolute perfection.

She might not flick everyone's switch, but there's no denying she's good.

I also believe Vincent can put together the most dymanic showdance. He will be in his element.

I'd say she'd have very little chance if she was up against Tom. The judges' scores have no real impact on the final placings. Still - never say never. I think an all female final is a distinct possiblity in which I would say Rachel would be firm favourite.

I think Rachel and Vincent will put in great performances in the finals, and the judges will mark them above Tom, but as Tom has a higher public vote they'll struggle to win...

Of course the judges can always arrange to have tom eliminated in the semi's....

If Tom gets past next week (by no means a sure thing) then he's probably a shoe-in to win. However if he's in the dance off next week and against Rachel, or Lisa at her strongest, I think he'll be hard pushed to beat them. You see I'm one of those boring people who don't give credence to conspiracy theories and believe the judges decide on the basis of the dances they see. Has Tom ever equalled the girls before in their strongest dance? He'll need to be very good. Of course if he's not in the dance off, he probably is favourite to win. Who knows where Austin's votes are going to go, of course, but I won't be surprised if they're mostly to Tom.

Can anyone justify why there needs to be a dance off in the semi final.

If the public can't be trusted after 14 weeks why bother letting them vote at all!

This dance off losing another good dancer shouldn't be here this year as three people should be in the final - we would have three top dancers in the final but for JS. . In terms of what the dance off is for though its arguably potentially more essential if you have only two places for a final. You could have had a JS and any male left going through on just the public vote. With three you can afford a dud, with two finalists a dud makes the final look silly.

The final is different. The public do decide who wins but by that stage you should have a decent show. If you have two decent dancers who provide a competitive show it doesn't matter who wins. If someone is clearly better but loses we get to see them, the show works well and its just the end that is absurd and its the voters who get the blame for that.

It would be nice. I think she is as deserving as any but let's see what she - and Tom - can pull out of the bag next week.

I think she could win it if Tom goes out next week (based on the judges placement and dance off). If Tom is in the final, then neither Lisa nor Rachel will win.

If Rachel is in the final with Lisa, she has my vote.

I really hope she doesnt win, i like Vincent but dislike her and i like Tom but dislike Camilla. So im pushing my vibe towards Lisa winning

Rachel will beat Lisa after her and brendan's dig at Austin's Salsa.

Bad sportsmanship.

They were my second fav couple but now Rachel is. Lisa is least fav of mine now.

I hope she can win. I like her, and I like Vincent very much.

If she`s in the final with Lisa, she stands a good chance of winning.

Neither of the girls will win against Tom in the final imo.

I hope its a toss up between her and Tom; I really dont mind which one wins, but I think perhaps Rachel is the better dancer of the two. Tom on the other hand is a better showman than her.

I hope so, she's so great @ it,
but they had a female winner last year so I don't think she will

Yes she can because she's still in the competition.

When do the judges stop choosing who goes through?

If tom goes this week on the judges say so then rachel will win. Whoever is with Lisa in a final will win by a mile.

However, I think Tom has the public support to keep him out of the dance off - so long as he doesn't come bottom on the leaderboard. Even if he comes bottom with only three competitors he has a pretty good chance of going through anyways given he will come top with the public vote.

The judges have handed this one to tom imho and made it a much more boring competition by keeping Lisa in. With austen in there then a split vote for the boys would have given rachel a chance of slipping through next week.

The final. They even get a say so next week which is appalling. They shouldn;t get a say from the quarters imho.

I think next week they choose a previous dance with different choreography - I wonder if Rachel & Vincent will go for the Foxtrot which got them their perfect score, apparently Lisa & Brendon have chosen the Quickstep - expectation will be very high for their AT.

Tom & Camilla must do the Quickstep again.....IMO one of the best, if not the best dance exhibition in this dance category.

..and my DWTS favourite - Helio & Julianne

If the judges put Tom bottom then he may well suffer the same fate as Gethin, where the public cannot save him no matter how many votes he receives, especially if Rachel is top as she is likely to get more votes than Lisa. If Tom is bottom and Lisa top I think the public would reverse the judges vote and put Tom through. If Tom avoids bottom place on the leaderboard though I think he is all but certain to win the glitterball.
