to keep Tom in now. Yes Strictly is about dance, but it is also about entertainment and who has travelled the furthest journey. Don't get me wrong, I like Rachel's singing and her as a person, but she would have undergone lots of dance training as part of S Club. Tom to win, the Holby City actor who has travelled the longest distance during the Strictly series

Both Tom and Rachel had dance talents and possibly both had some form of dance training. Surely if you talk about 'journey' Lisa is the one?

It has already been established that Lisa has I believed attended Italia Conti Stage School and as a result has had plenty of dance training. She was going to be a professional dancer at one time. Rachel did not go to a stage school so would not have received the same dance regime. I am not sure if you can count the S Club lame dances...

Just because you were in the stage school doesn't guarantee you can dance. It is true she was to be a pro dancer or is this based on conjecture?

From her own website

"Lisa studied Acting and dance at Italia Conti School of performing arts"

Don't know if the pro dancer thing is true tho?

so all the people left has previous dance experience.

It gives you a heads up though doesn't it. I don't believe anyone who has had lots of dance experience/dance exposure should win.

Even if you vote for Tom next week and he comes top in the viewers vote he could stilll be in the dance off - if the judges mark him third.

A Rachel vs Lisa final - so much for the public vote which will effectively have been ignored by the ridiculous process. There is no way there should be a dance off at this stage.

Let the public decide - after all they pay for the show via their licence!

Well, this just makes me want her to leave even more. It's funny, but looking at how badly female tv presenters generally fare - they aren't all Kate Garroways - I think their relative unpopularity is the faint whiff of the Kelly Brook's about them all...

I really can't see any injustice in a Rachel or Lisa win - nor would there be if Tom wins.

Exactly. I studied ballet as an adolescent, but I really could not do what these celebrities have done with these dances.

Let's stop comparing resumé's and start comparing the stuff that matters: technique, enthusiasm, improvement, magic.

TBH, I am glad for the balance that the judges provide. Some of the GBP seems to have a tendency to not actually care too much about the quality of the dancing, and more about their own particular perception of the contestants' "personalities" (or "lack of").

These last three are exactly the last three I would have chosen. They are a joy to watch, each in their own way.

Ignazio, you have no shame... After saying in other posts that you found him irritating beyond belief, and that he was the worst on the night, you now say you are gutted, probably hoping to get the Austin's fans to vote for Tom...

Where does he live then? Devon? Scotland? I hear the rail links to London are OK.

Rachel is my first choice.

She's been consistent and has provided some of the most memorable dances of the series.

She's also proved that you can be somewhat timid and still be endearing.

Her partner also happens to be my favourite remaining pro. Vincent is playful but senstive too, and his choreography is always exciting to watch.

My second choice is Tom. I've had a bit of a U-turn regarding him and Camilla. Found them irritating and uninspiring at first, but they have slowly won me over.

Lisa is my least favourite. And I don't buy the argument that she's been on a journey. Her Ballroom was good from the get go and her Latin has been hit and miss throughout.

I'm finding it funny that over on the other channel there's an argument of sexism because only one female has got through to the final yet not the same can be said here for the SCD semi?

I shall be cheering on whoever dances the best on the night. Rachel has been consistantly improving and like another poster said, Vincent's choreography is so exciting to watch.

But who knows what will happen next week?

It has to be Lisa to win now, I think Tom is extremely irritating and Rachel is just boring. Lisa has had the biggest journey and deserves it the most IMO.

VOTE LISA

This is a direct copy and paste from Lisa Snowdon's website

"Having been brought up in Welwyn Garden City, Lisa studied acting and dance at the Italia Conti School of Performing Arts. At first, Lisa wanted to be a professional dancer, but, having been discovered at a club, she was quickly signed up by a leading modelling agency and instead began her highly successful modelling career".

And she had the cheek to comment about Austin cheating!

Not quite the "journey" she'd like everybody to think is it

It was clearly tongue in cheek - but those who dislike Lisa will never be convinced of that.

Lisa may have attended the Italia Conti, as have many other past celebs without concentrating on dance; perhaps she hoped to train as a professional until given the modelling opportunity - but I would have thought the early stages of the competition proof enough that she was not a dance specialist.

If anyone cast doubts, it was surely Austin - until he stated categorically stated that he had no dance experience prior to SCD.

Are you hinting that that Austin perhaps lied about his past (in)experience? If so, how nasty!

She may want to be a pro dancer and maybe she found herself quite rubbish at dancing in the stage school? Which perhaps explained why she looked rubbish in her first woeful salsa attempt?
