A little bit, we are however looking forward to the new series of A1!

However, that does also mean getting up at 4.30 in the morning to find out who's been evicted!!!

You can always look on the AI website without getting up early.

Not really.....think this series has been a bit underwhelming. Most of the contestants have been average at best.

Think Alexandra will have a reasonably successful future possibly in musical theatre but is just not outstanding enough to be a huge solo star. Ruth will also probably have a reasonably successful career (good voice and looks); is also very articulate and excellent when interviewed and may be good as a presenter.

The others are just too average.

It ended for me when Diana left.

But I'm still gonna miss it. I need to throw my TV out and stop getting so attached to reality TV programmes.

x factor ended when ruth went 4 me

its been a weird series this year, austin going as early as he did, laura and ruth not making the final and daniel gettin so far

only 4 alex being in the final has the show got any talent left in it, i dont really like her,but think has the best voice out of the finalists, and imo SHOULD win but eee ogg an probibly will

Thank you OP ! I agree This years x factor has been amazinggg and definately one of the best imo.. so yes i will be sad to see it end Despite the dissappointing finalists considering the talent that we had (ruth, austin, laura).. it has still been good and very entertaining

Now that Diana's been voted off? Not really. I'm counting the days 'til AI starts to be honest. I wanna see the real talent.

Can't wait for it to end this year quite frankly. I think they had the worst talent this year and they handled everything badly. No matter how talented any of the remaining finalists may be (and only one of them is IMO), they're going to have a mediocre career, short shelf-life, small sales and will plod into oblivion in short order. Because the people 'backing' them have totally lost touch with reality. And fundamentally? They have the goose laying all their golden eggs for them now (Leona) so they won't need to invest in any other singer for quite some time.

American Idol of course. I only watch it because of Simon Cowell. I'm going to be in dire straits when Simon decides to work backstage.

Not overly.

I mean yeah it will be a bit crap with nothing good on TV on Saturday nights, but this series has been a big let down.

The top 5 should've been (in no particular order ) Laura, Ruth, Diana, Austin and Alex. We've got one of them left and if she doesn't win it will be a disappointing end to a disappointing series. This series has had such a high standard, but the public have got it wrong on many occassions.

I was, however, very upset when it ended last year. It took me quite a while to get over not seeing SD every week
