Did I just hear that right, CRH seems to be saying that it was the GBP who were to blame for Austin going. Nothing to do with how the judges scored and the placings on the LB?
Austin was always going to be in the DO after the scoring on Saturday, wasn't much we could do really to save him. I feel it's going to be a less exciting semi and final now Austin has gone.
I just want to see the best and most exciting dancers, not clinical and cold ones.

And considering that all he contributed was cliche and platitude, it would have been better all round if they had left him to have a lie in.

Craig did look tired!
In a nutshell. No surprises
He said he wouldn’t ‘mention the war’ (people ‘quitting the show’) and the resulting 2 celeb final. However, he did say that he likes a 2-person final. He said that maybe John S is right and he doesn’t understand the public. They chose the best dancing and it wasn’t Austin on the night.
Bill challenged that you can’t compare 2 such different dances, but Craig insisted that you can.
Talked about Lisa and the obvious lack of public support – same situation for Rachel. Must be hard as they are also dancing for the public and would like to have them on side. Rachel technically brilliant. Lisa excels in the dance off situation.
Craig said the public will ultimately decide in the final, but the judges will have put the best dancers there (at least that is what I think he said).
Brendan – Craig was delighted to see bad boy Brendan back – proof that it was all a pretence before. He does understand him – very passionate about what he does. Judges with him in NZ and Brendan is a much harsher judge than Craig. Amazing how people change when they get a voice.

Thanks for the synopsis! I couldn't bear to watch him.Craig is talking out of his bum...they (the judges) have put the best dancers through to the final, I would question that, they definitely sent home some really good contenders for a fun filled exciting final, I am talking about the likes of Jodie and Austin... like Craig would say imo this final will be D..U..L..L

Ah, so in other words the judges have decided who will be in the final, and not the GBP. So much for the votes of the GBP counting in the competition.
I now wish John had stayed in the competition and had got the public vote to stay in and avoid the dance-off every week. Might have put a very large spoke in the judges' wheel.

How despicable as well the jibe about people quitting. So Jimmy should have stayed and risked a heart attack? So Kelly should have stayed after losing a parent?

He and the other 3 totally beggar belief.

You know what CRH's head is so tightly stuck up his own rear end that he would say that.

I am an Austin fan and like many fans am absolutely devasted. I voted like mad on Saturday, but for that gimp to say it was the GBP fault, pull the other one. I bet that if there was no dance off, Austin would still be in the competition because he would have had more votes from the public overall. On that note, it is the judges fault for the shamefull over marking for the other competitors and under marking Austin!
But hey that is my opinion, you are all entitled to yours.
