Incidental Music Query

Hi folks, as a long time lurker I'd first like to thank all of you for adding to my enjoyment of Strictly.

I was prompted into signing up and posting by the music that was used on Sat 6 Dec just before Rachel and Vincent came on to do their Cha Cha (Cha?) - it was used when the judges were passing comment etc.

Can anyone tell me what it was?

Cheers and keep up the good work

I heard two songs.
The first was What You Waiting For By Gwen Stefani and the second was Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguilera

It was the sort of classical string-based stuff I was after.

(I know I should have been more specific in the OP)

Not saying it was precisely then, but I can remember hearing Samuel Barber's Adagio (strings) on the programme very recently...also Allegri's Miserere (choral piece)

Sorry, couldn't help you with that one. But it does sound very modern to me, like something composed for a film soundtrack.

If you can't get your answer here, you could try the Digitalspy music forum. They are usually very good at naming music.
Here's a link to the clip if anyone can help you with it http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UpIOC6VDTc4
