Hey all.

I am looking to get my Mum a pocket DAB this Christmas.

It has to be: easy to use and have ok sound quality.

There doesnt seem to be that many out there, does anyone on here have one that they can recommend?

That seems to be the only one out there. Does anyone have one? Any good?

I have got a DAB 1500. It is quite good but it uses more power on FM than DAB which is opposite to many radios.

There are cheaper ones..

Downside would be the Li-i battery which when flat would take time to re-charge but you could do a top charge before going out.

The Nevada ND-01 Portable uses re-chargeable AA which could be changed for charged ones when you are out.

There is a Pure which is a small set with a speaker which would be half way house between a larger set and a personal.

Cowon 8gb D2 with DAB

Never used that particular model but I am a fan of Cowon players having used an A2 myself for the last couple of years.

Good pieces of kit with outstanding sound quality.
