Does anyone recall:

1. Brendan complaining when Lisa pocketed a 10 for her Cha Cha despite the judges noting her flexed knees?

2. Brendan complaining when he and Kelly were awarded a perfect score for a dance that contained an illegal lift?

No? Me neither.

So what gives him the right to start criticising others when they're (arguably) over-marked?

What a wally.

Because Brendans 10s don't count of course!

I remember Brendan saying (something like); he doesn't believe in 10s because no dance is ever perfect.

Yup. I was almost converted when he became 'nice' and then when I saw him bitching over Austin's supposed overmarking, when Lisa did a rather messy looking jive (I like her btw), and got away with three eights and one nine, I really hope that I won't see him making it to the finals. And let'sface it, even if he's there, he's not going to win seeing that he and Lisa were in the dance-off thrice now!

I do think they may have had a point, but IMO it goes against Strictly etiquette (if there is such a thing!!) to specifically target another competitor's dance. I seem to remember a couple of years ago Erin did the same regarding Zoe's tens- I didn't think it was very fair then either, so Brendan's not the only one! Complaining about your own scores is one thing- slagging off someone elses is wrong IMO.

Brendan and James are like two peas in a pod.

They are both hypocritcal, ungracious and petulant.

I was momentarily fooled into believing they had changed this year. But both let their masks slip and showed us their true colours once more.

Vincent and Camilla for the final please - I don't want Brendan anywhere near it

But Erin did not storm off leaving Colin alone like an idiot in front of Tess. That IS the point.

I see that you have melted down the custom-made James life-sized wax figure seeing you have these scented candles around. You shouldn't, you should simply light the hairpiece of the waz figure andit will work just as well as a candle and see him literally melt away before your eyes. Either that or make the wax figure wear a skirt and put lipstick on it.

What Brendan did on Saturday was wrong- leaving Lisa standing by herself was thoughtless and embarassing for her. He may have tried to pull her away with him- but once she had indicated she wanted to stay- he should have done the same- supporting your partner is what is important. It was lucky Tom was there to lighten the mood.

I wasn't trying to stick up for him in particular- the way Brendan handles things when they don't go his way isn't the best- petulant is a word I'd use to describe it. I was just pointing out he wasn't the only one to have done it. Erin did it in a calmer manner- but she still did it.

Precisely. The couples are supposed to be a team. This was the second time Brendan abandoned Lisa.

I have made a voodoo doll of James - I'm sticking pins into it as we speak

Erin didn't 'slag' anyone off ~ she queried the fact that the judges pointed out mistakes in Zoe's quickstep but proceeded to award 10's anyway, stating that she believed 10's were reserved for perfection & hence a dance with noted errors getting perfect scores didn't add up.

Of course that version of events doesn't have quite the necessary level of bitchery & hysteria to it, does it?

BTW, I'm not especially an Erin fan, but there is a world of difference between her quietly stated comments in respect of Zoe's 10's and Brendan's hissy fit on prime time TV with the accompanying comments made in the corridor. That and the fact that this is far from the first time he's thrown a tantrum on the show.

Agreed ~ horribly disrespectful of him. But then again I expected nothing more of him, having seen his behaviour towards previous partners. He is an odious little man with an over-inflated opinion of himself and a rude, nasty little attitude.

He's not a 'bad boy', he's just an ill-mannered brat

Erin showed a bit more tact.

Brendan just loses his cool and behaves like a tantrum-throwing-toddler. It's so off-putting.

I agree. It is a bit unfair to aware a perfect score after pointing out obvious faults. A 10 feels as though it's becoming worthless as they're just handing them out.

Yes, tact and also, theres a time and a place. James was clearly not aware of this when he got voted out but let's not go there.

Sorry- I obviously didn't explain myself very well.... I was only referring to Brendan as 'slagging' off- it was the wrong phrase anyway and I shouldn't have used it....
As I said in a later post- Erin did do it in a calmer manner.....
Believe me, I wouldn't for the world compare Brendan and Erin- they behaved in two entirely different ways- just wanted to point out that he hasn't been the only one to complain about another dancers score. I was trying to be a bit impartial- because generally with Brendan I am not as I am not entirelly keen on his 'SCD persona'.

James wouldn't recognise tact if it bit him in the behind!

But you're right, that's old news now.

Brendan and James are two peas in a pod (or two pees).

This is why I like Tom and Camilla. No matter what scores they get they enjoy it and support each other through it. Brendan never likes it when things don't go his way.

He is clearly jealous of the boys making it though. But they are more popular then you or Lisa Brendan. Deal with it!

Dont hate, just find him a big hypocrite.

No doubt he`ll be on ITT this week trying to do some repair to the damage his little outburst may have caused.
