Oh, for heavens sakes.

I've really enjoyed this forum over the last few years, even if I've lurked more than I've posted. But what on Earth is going on this year? Why are so many people so gosh-darned spiteful and so gosh-darned ignorant? It's getting so that I can barely be bothered to lurk, let alone post.

I do not like pink fluffiness. It's suffocating. I do not think all the celebrities should be worshipped. Some of them are utter idiots. I do not think the judges are always fair and impartial. I do not think the voting public is always wise.

But this place is beginning to resemble a horrible mix of insane conspiracy theory, personal abuse, pointlessly entrenched positions and a complete inability to take a gosh-darned deep breath.

Brendan isn't a bully. Len isn't a sex-pest (or whatever the latest insult is). Austin wasn't a crap dance (wanna try to pull off what he's been pulling off, anyone?) Lisa isn't a drama queen (listen to yourselves sometimes). Rachel isn't a robot. Yadda yadda ad infinitum.

Is the best this forum can produce really a bunch of competing lynch mobs? Gah. Sorry. Rant over.

I would genuinely like to lurk more and contribute more. But to find the sensible posts you have to wade through thirty thousand hysterical ones, and by the time you've done that, you don't want to contribute because it feels like you're p*ssing in the wind. Sigh.

anyone saying austin is a cr*p dancer should see if they can go out and perform like that, saying erin is a sh*t choreographer should try choreographing those dances, they should try judging those dances like len has too, entertainging a live audience like bruce, getting through the stress and fatigue of scd without crying like lisa.....

I was a big Austin and Erin fan and gutted they lost to Lisa in the dance off but its not Lisa's fault and there's no big conspiracy and sometimes judges make mistakes or voters assume someone else will vote for their favourite and it will be enough.

Really not enjoying the number of negative threads on here
