Pork products
Hi
Bearing in mind the news about Irish pork, I am concerned about some bacon and sausages we have in our fridge - they are both labelled British and have the union jack on them, but I believe that the problem also relates to Northern Ireland, so products from there would still be British? Any help gratefully received - then I can decide what we will be having for tea! |

where did you buy the products from, if you know which store, then best to phone them up, and ask them if they know where the meat was sourced from.

Thanks - they are from Sainsburys. I have phoned them and they said all they can tell me is that they are British and therefore not Irish - couldn't say if that included products from Northern Ireland or not. Think I will leave them in the freezer until things are clearer and we will have pasta and pesto tonight!

I think you'll be ok unless you've got a freezer full of pork. Don't think a few sausages is going to kill you.
