Loose Women and Strictly

On Loose Women this lunchtime, they were having a discussion about whether or not Erin's hair piece came off - I think during the pro VW. Did anyone see this?

Also, they said that Austin will be on tomorrow lunchtime

Her hair did fall over her face, and she tried flicking it out of the way, but it just stayed there. She pushed it back with her hand in the end.

in the dance off her hair piece fell out, quite a large chunk of hair as well!

It was during the danceoff that at least two of her hair extensions appeared to fall out. Brendan and Lisa had to remove them from the floor before they could do the danceoff!!

Were you there Rowdy? Would love to know if this is true.
Carol Mcwotsit said that someone had to come out at the end and sweep it away, after they had all danced round it?!

PS - love your character on Scrubs!

Thanks for the replies - must go and have a look on iplayer!

BTW - just in case I get accused of being a 'hatah', I only wondered because of comedy value - I personally think Erin is a very talented woman and was sad for her as well as Austin last night

It did fall off and someone picked it up aftwards (couldn't see who it was) and the audience laughed. You have to watch closely.

From what I could see, Lisa picked up a clump of hair and handed it to Brendan. He appeared to then walk to the side of the dance floor to dispose of it.

Damn...from the thread title, I thought this was going to be a lot more interesting.

That was in one of the dances first time round - it looked like after swinging about her hair got caught over her face and due to the amount of hairspray in it (probably) she couldn't get it to go back into place. Anybody who was 14 and over during the '80s will have experienced this!

I noticed something falling on the floor during the dance off but didn't realise it was her hair!

Did nobody else roll on the floor in hysterics when they saw what looked like roadkill on the dancefloor ??
It was the funniest thing on Strictly I've seen !!
I was literally rofpmsl when I was pointing it out to my OH - and then there were TWO of them. omg, I am laughing now just thinking about it !!! Sorry Erin, but you wait til Harry Hill sees it

Wow, I must've seen a separate thing happen. I'll have to watch it again now!

Yes I did! I saw something on the floor and thought 'roadkill', then decided I was seeing things!

You DID see that happen (see my reply above). The hair falling out was in a different dance.

If you watch the danceoff, there is one hairpiece that comes off at the beginning (you can see it behind them in most of the dance); then towards the end you can clearly see another one flying off her head and land in front of them.
Poor Erin, nothing went right on Saturday for her...

It was funny although I thought she would have picked them up on her way off the floor after the dance off - perhaps it was a sneaky attempt by Erin to throw a banana skin in Lisa and Brendan's path but the only things she had available were her hair pieces! lol That's a joke by the way (before anyone starts a thread on it as a conspiracy theory)!

Sorry, you're right that could have been a bit misleading ! Have to say apart from the end result - and lets face it one of them was going to go, although yet again it was the one I voted for - Saturday was actually a good night for live TV, what with Brendan's strop and Bruce looking the wrong way at the wrong time. Wonder why they didn't edit wig-gate out of the results show though!

I don't think they could have done without it being unfair on Lisa and Brendan - unlike Mikegate with Ramps and Karen it didn't stop Erin completing the routine.
