Tonight was really upsetting to watch, and so emotional, things dont usually effect me too much but I was very close to crying with her, especially after seeing Camillas reaction, and then Erin in tears.
Poor thing, I just wanted to give her a huge hug. xx”

I know
It set her off i think when she saw Camilla was so upset..
even though she wwas trying her best to hold back the tears before that..
and how sweet was she when she gave Daisy and Ellie Mae a hug when they were sat on the sofa next to each other, The kids are obviously very fond of her and visa versa

i will definately miss them both

To be fair (and I love Austin and Erin and voted for them 12x that night) Lisa's waltz was close to perfect. I saw one 'wobble' from Brendan when he did the contra-check. Lisa was shown to SPECIFICALLY do the heel turns. And flatted footed? Are you serious??? What were you watching, pray tell?

I dare guess why she said it was horrible was maybe she thought she could read commiserations from the forums and all people were talking about was how cr@ap her and Austin latin were and about that damned hair-piece that flew off her. Enough already. Boy, if I were her, I might just crawl into cave and never see the bright light of the day again.

Completely agree. The whole weekend didn't go her way, I just felt so sorry for her.

I was watching the same dance as you. Maybe without the rose tinted goggles? There were three wobbles, hardly any heel turns (and in some cases the camera work really showed that, like around 3:20 in the youtube video). I'm not saying the whole dance was flat footed (the steps backwards were very nicely done) but she was flat footed when going forwards, instead of doing proper heel turns.
Anyway, as usual everybody sees different things in each dance...

Please stop. Your screenname is letsdance so I assume you have some dance background. I don't have any and I SAW the heel turns. She even did a double (back?) heel turns before going into a contra-check. I haven't voted for Lisa and didn't like Brendan. But even I can see a good dance when there is one. Please stop your nonsense.

The very thing you say, "she was flat footed when going forwards, instead of doing heel turns" doesn't make sense. You CAN'T do heel turns when stepping forward. That's heel LEADS. And she also did THAT. She might have missed some when the camera was not showing her feet but that's another story.

I agree - she wouldn't just wake up on Sunday morning and be' over it' and just imagine all the fuss she's got to face from everybody.

Yes, I do have a dancing background. And the heel turns intead of leads was just a slip (be patient, English is not my mother tongue and I still have to translate some terms in my head).
We clearly disagree, and I have no problem with that and, by the way, I'd never dream to tell you to stop making comments. I didn't think that dance deserved those marks (and I'm in good company); you thought it did (and you're in good company). No need to get your knickers in a twist.
Mind you, I blame Brendan for the heel leads. He did the same thing last year with Kelly, a whole VW without them (according to the judges, not just me) but he got a massive score anyway, so why bother this time round. I'm sure Lisa would have been able to nail that part if he had bothered teaching her properly, since she's good at ballroom.

I thought Erin came across as a very dignified lady this year, especially in defeat.

As soon as she mentioned the "horrible weekend" comment my first thought was that she'd been told she'd been axed from next year, but that's hopefully not the case.

I've never been Erin's biggest fan either but it must be gutting, particularly as this has been her best chance since Colin

When she talked about her horrible weekend, I too had the distinct impression that something else was up... I was wondering if Anton may have called it a day, since he always gets lumbered with the older/clumsier celeb women, and since he seems to have branched out into other tv work. Not sure if that would mean Erin would drop out, too, which means that was her last stab at winning the show...
Then again, maybe she was devestated by her sudden hairloss...”

I was shocked at just how upset she was/is. I agree plinkiplonk that is might be do with Anton - maybe he won't be dancing anymore now that his other projects are going so well? I dont know - I've just never seen a pro THAT upset - I found it quite bizarre, but I dont mean that in a horrible way!

I have to say, this series, I was an Erin convert. Wasn't quite sure about her before, but really warmed to her this series and hated seeing her so upset. I agree there probably was something else going on, but don't know what. I've seen pro's emotional before, but not THAT emotional (except Kristina when John left). Nice to see though that they are so passionate about their craft.

I am not English either, nor British (yet) for that matter (though I love England). English is NOT my native tongue too so I may express things that are deemed impolite in this society.

I ask you to stop because I actually feel you were embarrassing yourself with unsubstantiated remarks that Lisa didn't do heel leads or for that matter also heel turns. She did both and did them well.

I didn't vote for her thus far because I like other couples more than her. But when I see a spade, I call it a spade. I agreed about Kelly not doing heel leads in her VW last year but so far Lisa of late hadn't put a foot wrong in her ballroom routines.

I still think she said 'horrible weekend' because she may try to get some solace from the 'supporters' in the forum(s) and read about her hair-piece flying off discussed ad nausem ad infinitum, and how she was rubbish with her latin, lousy choreography for the AS etc..

Well, we'll clearly have to disagree on this one and leave it at that. To me, your claims of near perfection are as unsubstantiated as my opinions are for you. Again, no big deal.

Think Erin was just upset at being knocked out so close to the end. After putting in so much work, anyone would be that upset getting knocked out so late in the game. Like people have said on ITT it's almost worse getting knocked out now, than it is in the early weeks.

I think it's safe to say that Erin and Anton will still be dancing together, seeing as they have their solo tour throughout January and have their dancing weekends and Dukinfield events still running throughout the year.

Whether they both do SCD next year though is another question-get the feeling that Anton may be getting sick of being the butt of the joke and getting the duffers every year.

That being said-neither of them have hinted in interviews that they want to leave and I for one hope they are both still here next year!

Their solo tour is just about sold out, at venues in the south of England anyway, and I had to buy tickets for their performance at the Coloseum in April, so somebody's getting a Christmas present that they're going to have to wait to enjoy.

I have always liked Erin- and thought it was so endearing in the way she referred to herself as Miss Whiplash

Great lady- a great teacher- and badly done to on Saturday by the Muppets.

The hug between her and Camilla on Sunday at the end of the show set me off crying
