Here is my response to this message last night.

My OH and me are both off work tomorrow so we will be near where Eóghan will be so I'll take time out and give a wee report here shortly afterwards.

Even though I think he's not very good I will be objective in my criticism and go with an open mind.

Anything to avoid walking around doing Xmas shopping!

He is on at 2pm which is strange as the schools will still be on. I'm guessing the whole of Dungiven will be in Derry city centre though.

7,000ish or so there.
Okay, people waited for 3-4 hours plus although I only had to wait 5 minutes as my friend phoned me who was doing security there.

It was pissin down when he came on stage just after "so what" by Pink was played by the DJ.

He sang Imagine and was really really good at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I know..........

But he then did 3 other songs which IMO were not as good but it didn't matter to the audiance as he had them in his lap.

The average age group there was about 20 with 80% being under 15 and the other 20% being over 50.

Strange thing though was when he came on he was called back before he sang as I think the Xfactor camera's may not have been ready for it?

Also, after his 2nd song he had a long conference with his minder (women with blonde hair)?

Any questions?
