Now please note, I have NO problem with anyone learning 4 months before fellow contestants, after all anyone could have done that. But I am curious as to who it was.

Anyone know????”

They referred to Austin and Erin having danced together for 16 weeks. A lot different.

Regardless of what training they've done in their formative years, nobody else has that background - so it's not surprising that she can pick up the technical skills so well.”

Rachel has an advantage from that. She has had pretty much the same background as Alesha and Emma Bunton - girl group, then solo.

The actors have a different dance background.

I've just watched Austin on Loose Women and I'd say it is pretty clear he is not the one who had 4 months previous training (if anyone did) - check what he says at 3.20 onwards.

I think it is Tom. When he tap danced and had individual dancing moments it looked like he had previous dance training.

I think you would learn more in years of stage school than learning a few simple S Club routines that any 10 year old could and did do. There's also dancers and lesser dancers within groups. S Club had people who couldn't dance well (Jo) and some - notably Tina - who could dance much better. The Spice Girls had everything from forget all the steps Spice, we saw OK dancing Spice, much better dancing Spice should have won DWTS and true dancing Spice would be too good to enter any TV compettion.

Difficult not to have it though. Look at young actors/musical theatre performers CVs and you will find they practically all claim several types of dancing training as part of their training - though not usually ballroom.
