So the press are now reporting that Diana 'blamed' Cheryl for her exit.....
This sems to be the latest in a line of media reports that suggest that contestants on the show have been less than happy with their mentors. There seems to be a need to blame and twist contestants' words this year - almost every contestant has had comments twisted so that it appears they have been unhappy.
It's Diana's turn this week, previously the press tried to do the same with Rachel (her so-called 'feud' with Dannii) with Austin, with Scott and even the ever dignified Daniel was reported to feel badly treated.
When a contestant that wan't a personal favourite left, it was easy to jump on a bandwaggon and accuse them of being ungrateful, but as more and more have had the same treatment, isn't it time to see that it is the media concocting arguments that were nothing, and turning genuine opinions about song choices into apparent dislike for a mentor.
I feel more and more that the press want to have a go at a particular mentor, and just use the contestant to further that aim. In the same way that Rachel's words about Dannii were twisted, so now are Diana's twisted about Cheryl. All in all, a lot of the contestants have, I feel, been wrongly represented.
