Which is the best website to store my digital photos on?

Hi,
My family and I take loads of pictures, between our mobile phones and our cameras, and and up till now I've stored alot of them on the kodak website, but I've just realised I can't "take" them back to my pc, without ordering prints from them! I do have some stored on disc as well, but, ideally I'd like to be able to store all our pics on the internet, and share some of them on-line with family and friends. Can anyone recommend a website that allows us to store any amount of pics but also allows us to take the pics back onto our pc if we want to? Or would I just be better storing the whole lot on disc?

Thanks

www.Flickr.com is very good, for ~£12 a year you have unlimited uploads ad can 'retrieve' your photos. I do not recommend storing anything on disc long term, as apparently they can corrupt and you'll possibly lose all your photos!!
You can also tart up your photos in Flickr btw.
