Why Alexandra will win ...
Shes Cheryl's final act and its been in the script for the new judge to win ever since Sharon quit- hence Cheryl was given the strongest category

If Alexandra wins it will be because she is the best singer and performer in the competition from the start but I doubt that she will.

If that's all you're basing your confidence about Alexandra winning on then I think you're in for the shock Sam

I think it's because they have set everything up for her to win like favourable articles, press releases favourable to her. She got loads of dancers and loads of props and the best stage set ups from the beginning - so we don't know if she is a good performer yet because she gets the credit for others performing.
I guess overall she is the quick and easy buck because the record company believe that people don't think twice when buying RnB music. If it's got a funky beat, doesn't matter who is singing because it will be bought. We've seen her singing is weak if they ask her to do something other than Diva/RnB stuff so overall talent wise we've seen she's below par of at least 70% of those in the final 24, maybe more. I think she'll win because they want her to win but why that is, in terms of record company revenue it questionable. Maybe people like Ruth, Laura, Diana will sell records without winning so they set it up for them to lose and Alex can only sell something if she wins. Closest I can get to it but like Richard Parks said she is "Nondescript identikit R'n'B" |

Atleast Alexandra will be really grateful to Cheryl, several times she already mentioned Cheryl is the best mentor (the least she says!) unlike Diana, who slagged her Quote:

Yes! Simon wants Alexandra to win from sun Quote:
He said: "I'm rooting for Alex. "I said it last week and I'll say it again: if you want to find someone British who can represent this country all over the world then here it is." http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...cle2020795.ece |

I was a massive fan of Austin and Laura but i dont come on here constantly attacking other acts. Alex didnt float my boat initially but the last couple of weeks shes been amazing. even Simon admitted she and JLS were in a different league to the other two acts on Saturday. Id say Alex fantastic vocals are far from nondescript. |

Is there anything wrong with that? If I like a song it doesn't matter who sings it, I'll buy it. I also would have thought the same applies with any genre of music. I really don't see your point there lol. Quote:

I can't agree her singing is weak and there's people on this forum that don't like her but can concede that her singing isn't weak. There will be a few that agree with you though. Most FM's that don't like her I have respect for as they have their legitimate reasons and don't feel the need to constantly put her down. Quote:

I don't agree there either. I don't think any of the final three need to win to sell something. They all have a market to sell to. Sorry Beer but your thinly veiled put downs of Alex lost their credibility after the 'Which key did Alex sing in' debacle. Much love x |

Beer, Mr Parks said the same thing about Leona. Enough said.
At the end of the day his views are taken as seriously as Basil Brush. |

Paired with the fact that she is bookies favourite, the most talented left, appears to have the most support- especially from the judges and a few similarities with past winners whilst in the show, I think not

When was the last time Richard Parks discovered a hit artist?
I'm still not confident about Alexandra winning, I'm praying that she does as she has massive potential on a Leona scale and I hope even if she doesn't win Simon will sign her regardless. |

![]() Don't get me wrong , I really want Alex to win but I'm not expecting her to just because I think it's the groups turn to win this year and JLS are quite popular so I can't see Simon letting that opportinity pass. |
