Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but couple number 1 (ie the first couple to perform on the first show of the series) have always got to the final (Natasha & Brendan, Julian & Erin, Darren & Lilia, Matt & Lilia, Matt & Flavia if memory serves) up until now. Funny little quirk, but does it guarantee that Tom & Camilla are safe?

In the final 12 of the last 3 years, the bottom 2 couple on the night have respectively been 9th and 11th on our poll:
2006:
Spoony and Ola 9 2.90% 9th place
Georgina and James 1 0.32% 11th place
2007:
John and Nicole 24 3.82% 9th place
Willie and Erin 13 2.07% 11th place

They told Tom that on one of this first appearances on ITT and he looked terrified!! They asked what all 5 had in common and he had no idea....he was convionced he was cursed!!

Yep you're absolutely right...First Dancers for each series...
Series 1 Natasha and Brendan (Cha-Cha 27) Winners
Series 2 Julian and Erin (Cha Cha 19) Third Place
Series 3 Darren and Lilia (Cha Cha 19) Winners
Series 4 Matt and Lilia (Cha Cha 19) Second
Series 5 Matt and Flavia (Cha Cha 23) Second
Series 6 Tom and Camilla (Cha Cha 28) ???
The other coincidence was that in the first four series the winner danced in the first show first in Series 1, last in Series 2, first in Series 3 and last in Series 4.
So according to this Matt DA should have won series 5 and either Andrew Castle or Cherie Lunghi (depending on your definition of last first dance) should have won this series.
