Please guys sign below the petition to scrap the dance off this weekend

Fairplay and not the second bite of the cherry for the judges must prevail

It is our show not theirs. A fix like what happened to get rid of Austin must not be allowed to happen this weekend

But last week you thought it was a fix to get rid of Tom! There is no fix...the judges vote purely on the dancing.

Fg...you know how the media works.

They ain't gonna change a show with three days notice!

And anyway it's not been confirmed that there is a dance off yet.

Funnily, you don't actually need a petition. You've got 14 threads about it already so if they were going to read this firum they'd get the drift already.

Sorry footygirl but I wont be joing your 'Tom' must win at all costs campaign. Last week you were convinced that Tom was going to be 'screwed' by the judges and guess what you were wrong !!!! it was Austin. If its Tom's turn to go this week because of the dance off then so be it.

Sorry to double post but you edited whilst I was replying.

FG two weeks ago you said that the judges had fixed the leaderboard to get a Austin/Rachel final (remember, you said to me that the BBC thought they were the biggest names?)

Now this week they fixed it to get rid of Austin??

At least if you've got conspiracies be consistent with them

You really are getting desperate. There is no chance of any "petition" being successful at this stage. I really hope Tom is out this weekend, probably as much as you hope to keep him in by any means. You really need to let it go and stop the paranoia.

Sorry footgirl, I like many of those who have posted already am not going for the scrap of the dance-off. My favourite, Austin & Erin were unfairly voted out because of the dance off, and I have been devasted ever since. It cannot be 'one' rule for 'one' person and now because the comptition is really tight, another for your favourite. If Tom happens to be in the dance-off then he must face it like every other competitor who has been in the dance-off. The only way it could have been fair was if the dance-off was scrapped at the beginning of the series or scrapped at the QF stage. But that is my opinion.

Could I ask why it must belong to anybody? Can it not just be an entertainment show for everyone to watch, to judge, to enjoy?

I don't agree with the dance off in a three couple semi final (annoyed me intensely last year too) but I agree that it wouldn't and indeed shouldn't be changed at this stage of the competition. Petition to scrap the dance off next year (assuming there is one) when there are only four couples left and I might be in. Naively I hoped that the three couple semi final dance off wouldn't be an issue again this year.

is there a dance off this weekend? i thinks its time they do what x factor do, when it gets to this stage to let the public decide and not the judges

Is this a vote of no confidence in the system?
Or in the present judges?

The dance off should be scrapped when it gets to the two dances each on the night stage

Maybe the best way to decide over the Dance Off is instead of the Judges Panel painfully doing their duty, have the studio audience decide by Clapometer.

I also have a vote of no pleasure in the judges.
I am not paid to watch, I switch on only if there is pleasure.

This is not the same forum I left few weeks ago. People seem so much harsher to each other.

I don't want a dance off this year, but was perfectly happy with it last year when it saved couples I like 5 times. Even though my favourite is more likely to go with the dance off than the public vote it's only fair he has to go that way when everyone else has.

I vote we scrap the show this weekend. Just ask the judges who they think deserves the glitterball and hand it over.

Once it gets to the two dance stage, the dance-off should be the bottom two with their lowest scoring dances. This way you ensure those with latin and ballroom credentials get through.

I wonder who will be in the dance off - I think it will be two out of Rachel, Lisa and Tom which means one of Rachel, Lisa or Tom will have to leave. Oh I shall be gutted!!! I really wanted Rachel, Lisa or Tom to be in the final.

Actually it would be better if Tom, Racel and Lisa were all in the final. All they have to do is run this weeks votes over.........Possible with only a second slot to fill on Saturday

That way they get the three person final they wanted. They don't have to fill the show ...with filler.....or make everyone do too much. If there's an unstoppable male winner there's at least a race for second........

...and third, in no particular order.
It will be very exciting on Saturday night!
I think we are in for a surprise.......................................................................................................................................................................................................
