I loved Sugar Stars in the early 70s. It had Sooty on the front.

Sooty not shown on the image above but mentions it by the Puffa Puffa Rice on the Kelloggs site.

Nowadays I like the flavoured American Quaker Oats. Cinnamon Apple, Strawberries and Cream and Peaches and Cream are fab. I make my own with jam and cinnamon apples

I usually have 2 and mix them in the same bowl!
At the moment my favourites are Crunchy Nut Bites and Crunchy Nut Clusters chocolate curls.

Used to like Weetabix in the winter, but realised it wasn't doing my tummy any good

Porridge. The oldest cereal in the world? Still the best, IMO.

I love Porage, Shredded Wheat and Rice Crispies. Weetibix with hot milk when I need comfort food is great too.

When I was a kid, I loved Golden Nuggets so was delighted to see them being sold again recently. Gods they were disgusting! Hardly surprising I wouldnt like them though, I havent put sugar on my cereal for decades.

Kellogg's Start

It's like friggin' gold-dust - they don't usually stock it in your average supermarket or grocery shop.

There's even a DS thread on it!

Crunchy Oat Cereal - Various brands but Mornflake Crunchy range is really good especially with Sultana and Dried Apple. Not that I eat much cereal during the winter but in Summer I love it with cold milk.

Coco Pops - me and my brother used to fight over them in variety packs! Also Frosties (they're grrrrreat...).

I loved Coco Pops Crunchers but they didn't last long.

I used to love Golden Crisp. Kellogs should start doing them again.
Nowadays its Coco Pops, Ricicles and Weetabix mini bites, got to be the honey and nut flavour though, even though they're the hardest one's to find.

To quote peep Show:

Jez: "Crunchy Nut Cornflakes are just Frosties for w*nkers. "
Mark: "Frosties are just Cornflakes for people who can't face reality."

I prefer Bran Flakes.

I loved Frosties

I don't have cereal with milk though so my cereal's had to be something quite sweet - haven't had cereal in about 10 years though!!

I rediscovered the joy of Corn Flakes while on holiday earlier this year.

I usually don't have sugar, so normally it would have been Frosties to get around that.

However, the person who went shopping couldn't get semi-skimmed milk which I normally insist upon. We had full fat instead.

To get to the point, I had Corn Flakes with both sugar and full fat milk - it was gorgeous!

At home I make sure I have all three ingredients to hand now, though only for an irregular treat in the morning.

Another cereal treat is that triple chocolate meusli from M&S.

I quite like just plain old cornflakes too, but it has to be with ice-cold milk.
