know Alesha's Salsa has over 800'000 views on youtube do any other contestants beat this or come close re single videos???

If you type in 'strictly' as a term, my browser says that Alesha's is the most popular one by a contestant, but the Professional Argentine Tango from 2006 is the most viewed Strictly dance.

Maybe you'll get different results with different search criteria?

Interesting stats. These figures contain 1 year's worth of viewings including repeats, so SCD6 dances cannot compare.

Do you happen to have SCD6 figures to date? This would shed light on the outright disagreements between 4 judges and the people.

Does this include all posters?

Some of Kelly & Brendan's dances are no longer available. i know that because I added them to my favorites them.

On YouTube some dances appear in duplicate, with one version including judges response. Were counts for both version added together?

No, because Austin and Erin have over 100,000 if you look at all the versions on youtube of their jive.

Is there any way to download any YouTbue dance permanently on my PC, so that I do not need to view it via broadband every time?

Despite my 6-megabyte broadband, with youngsters playing audio-visual Star Wars games in the house some of my dancers freeze in mid gesture.

Unless it's Tom's paso face, that could be an advantage!

Nope. Easy to do but I can't be bothered lol. Simply filter through the results using view count option. Start off with Austin's Jive and work your way down.

trevvytrev21 - apparently the Salsa is the most popular dance in the UK (salsa clubs etc) so I think this may have something to do with it.

As for Kelly I can remember from last year the Rhumba was her highest viewed dance closely followed by her Tango.

The view counts aren't added together just highest viewed for each dance. If you were to add them all together a) it would take a very long time b) Alesha would dominate even more than she does already due to having the most video sources.

Disappointing to only see two dances in from this year. There has been a lack of wow dances though and like somebody said the IPlayer may have something to do with it.

Just looking at single version scores as becomes too complicated to add all versions i feel this is best indicator

Also re iplayer are these videos available for only a limited period, don't think iplayer would explain awaylack of series 6 dances as others continued to be view over a year later

There are free programs you can download to do this which convert the videos try google save youtube videos....I have done this and now have all of Alesha's SCD and ITT videos on my pc can't remember the program i used to convert might be VLC
