strictlyfloss

Many apologies if this has been mentioned before, but watching old footage of previous series on ITT over the last couple of evenings I've been fascinated to see both Matthew and Ian with dark hair!!! (Although I have to say I do prefer them both - Ian especially - blond) So what's their natural colour?? And who's next I wonder? (difficult to imagine a blond Vincent but hey you never know.....

I noticed that as well, but when you see photos of them when they are young they are both very blond

Much prefer them as blonds, Ian has definately improved with age he is really quite good looking now

Agree, I think Ian is very yummy, a bit late in the day considering he is already out of the competition and the series is nearly over but I think I'm developing a little crush

I also noticed in Flavia's childhood picture at the end of ITT that she was blonde too! Much nicer darker!

Are we all congregating round Boots in Reading? Perhaps we should have a rota?

I bet 90% of the UK are brunette and only 10% or less are truly blond.

Yeah, we should exchange mobile numbers and whoever meets him should...err...detain him until the rest of us arrive.

Getting back to the topic, I'd hazard a guess that Kristina is a bottle blonde.

As a brunette whose natural colour is only a couple of shades up from black, I would like to say that I think we deserve not to lumped in with all those mid-brown types who used to be white-blonde as kids but now dye it lots of weird colours in order to improve their mousey locks.

So actually, I bet 20% of the UK are truly blonde or brunette, and the rest are faking it like troopers

I am sure that Ian probably has his hair doone professionally, can't imagine him with a home dye kit hanging over a sink! I would probably hang around near the fake tan section!
Not sure what his original colour is, when you look at those kiddy pictures of him he was a beautiful blonde, and in the early clips of the 70's again he was blonde, so maybe he dyed it brown when he was with Denise. have to admit he has improved with age, and letting his hair get longer and highlighted.
Live too far from reading to stalk him, perhaps I can stand in the Andover branch and dream!

Count me in there, and anyone who had my natural hair colour would be a bottle blonde like me! I was born blond, with the colouring of a blonde, then when I was 18 it suddenly turned mousy! I have to dye it as even my natural hair colour does not look right on me!

I'm pretty sure Ola is a bottle blonde, and I've seen shots of Camilla with some pretty questionable roots as well.

I live in Reading, maybe I'll start haunting Boots as well!

Me too!

Pretty sure all the dancers apart from Brendan, Brian and James dye their hair

I dunno, I think Brendan and Brian might be reaching for the bottle occasionally too

Anyway, when you're plastered in fake tan, wearing three-inch false lashes and glitter on your eyelids, with massive sparkly rock-style jewellery, in a sequin-encrusted dress and metallic heels, a spot of hair dye's the least of your fashion fakery

You may be right about Brendan, sometimes his hair looks ginger and other times black

As for the rest, well, quite

I remember Ian and Matthew both being naturally fair haired when they were quite young amateur dancers, but most Latin dancers favoured the dark 'Latin' look then, as many still do now, and it was something of a joke that the guy and his partner "shared the same bottle of hair dye".

(Some who were/are very blonde stayed blonde).
