Few Questions about o2 Web Bolt-On
I want to use it for checking stuff like my gmail [using the downloaded app for my phone] Google Maps, DS and other websites/forums.
Will using it for those sites and anything similar use up a lot of the usage limit o2 impose upon the Bolt-on ? Using something like Google Maps through the Google Maps application I assume will take up a fair chunk of bandwidth ? But would it push me too close to the fair usage limit ? I assume [not that it works on my phone though] that using something like Youtube wouldn't be allowed using the bolt on ? Out of interest [and I ask this to gauge the scope of sites I could view] what websites to other people use the bolt on to view or use ? " Enjoy unlimited web browsing for £7.50 a month with the O2 Web Bolt On ". That is my main confusion. What is unlimited about it when it has a fair use policy of 200mb/month ? Also that 200mb is that the total of upload+download or just download ? I'd assume both . . . Another question slightly related to this. I did a postcode check and my area is totally covered for HSDPA. Is HSDPA actually available to o2 PAYG customers though or is it mainly contract customers / Business who get to use it? |

I reckon I should just dip my foot in the water and give it a wee shot. I can always cancel before the next time they take the £7.50.
I had seen people mention the fact that you could go upto that level before getting a text warning, which I feel is a good thing. Handy to know when you are about to go over the limit and be charged ! |
