5 ingredients for a desert island?
I think this has been done before but hey ho.
I think I could survive quite happily on; Olive Oil Garlic Sea Salt Pasta A pack of mixed herb seeds so I could grow a selection. I really, really wanted to fit in black peppercorns but as there's only 5 allowed I won't.

Eggs are a good 'un but where's the salt? Empires and Civilisations were fought over in the name of salt. You simply must have it to bring out the flavour of grub!!

A selections of vegetable seeds that produce seeds for re-planting (including garlic) hehe... is that cheating?
![]() Rice, I am not much of a fan or pasta Pepper oil Tinned tomatoes to keep me going until my veg grows And... as technically they aren't an ingredient, some live chickens for eggs or eating.

Wholemeal Pasta
Olive Oil Tomatoes Basil Black Pepper I would dry my own salt as suggested by a previous poster and I would find some way to catch my own tuna ![]() I wouldn't need much because I'm sure that I would die of poisoning from trying the various indiginous plants with my pasta

Yeah yeah, get you lot with your olive oil and your tomatoes and your pasta. You'll all be hanging around me after a couple of days.

Water - you die without it
Chickens for eggs and to eat A cow for milk and you can make butter if you have the equipment. You would need a cold cave to keep things fresh. Seeds to grow veggies Flour - make pancakes, unleaven bread Matches/candles Tinned food and an opener You can tell I have done self catering
