Has anyone bought a Nokia 6300?

Do you get a USB/data cable and handfree kit with it?

Handsfree kit, yes (Wired stereo headphones for MP3 Radio and Handsfree)
I didn't get a USB cable, but it's the same mini USB cable that most cameras and PC Peripherals use, so you probably already have one.

Use it to upgrade firmware to 7.0 for free if you get it. Really simple to do using the bundled software. (or download from Nokia website for the latest version)

That's really good because that's something I didn't like about my previous Nokia, a 6230i, which didn't support Nokia Updater.

Yep just plug in the USB cable, let Windows detect the phone (assuming your not wearing a black turtle neck, cords, listening to Jack Johnson, with incense sticks and using a Mac

)

Boot up Nokia updater and follow the instructions. Update takes about 5mins. Not noticed any huge differences, but it's good to know that the Fins are supporting the product.
