My friend wants to use this phone on Blyk but it is unfortunately locked to Virgin mobile. I rang up Virgin customer line and was told by a foreign fellow that it would cost me £15 to get it unlocked

I told him he could forget that as the phone itself is probably not even worth £15!

Is there anyway I could get Virgin to do it for free, or is there another way?
