Just bought one of these from Cash Converters but it's only come with a quick start guide and and a Setenta viewing card. I am struggling to tune in all the channels and even then, I can't watch the channels that are tuned in. Can you help me?

I don't know that I can help you.

I presume you are going through the menu to 'help' which gives you the set-up options: scan for channels etc...

In 'help' you can press 1-3-9-7 to get to the engineer's screen from where you will find options, such as reformat and 'forced' software update. Obvioulsy, anything you do is at your own risk. But sometimes a fresh start helps.

When I got mine recently, I didn't bother with Setanta.

It seems a decent box so far.

What happens with these boxes if it is turned on and is not able to find the MUX with the TUTV signal, a family member is in an area where they will never get this MUX and the box is powering up for the 1st time and seems non-functional to them. They are 200+ miles from me, so I cna not just pop there and take a look.

I just bought a refurb Digihome DG250DTRA08 off ebay, I have no problem setting it up but a user manual would be useful if anyone can suggest where I can download a copy from, does anyone know the procedure for programing the remote to work with a TV and if so where can I get the codes.

http://www.topuptv.com/help+centre/downloads has a selection of pdfs to cover your needs. Nothing specific for Digihome but they're all basically the same box.

I recently purchased this receiver refurbished (whatever that's supposed to mean) from ebay for £50.00 inc postage, it appears to be working okay but can anyone tell me what is the latest firmware, this receiver appears to have 3.08 on it according to the menu and am I to understand that TUTV controls the updates, I also read somewhere about trick modes when using the remote when playing back recorded programs, does anyone know how are these implimented as I can't get the remote to anything other than what it's supposed to do although I did read somewhere that a disk format may be requiried to enable the trick mode, thanks in advance for any advice.
