I could get no Vodafone Live in Glasgow or even Edinburgh last night. Texts would not sent in Glasgow would say failed try again and was doing this again this morning although my girlfriend said i sent her teh same message 5 times but only once did it not say failed. So said failed to me but it sent it how bizzare.

Vodafone have on/off problems with weekend services for a long time.it is annoying when you have free weekend calls or Vodafone family calls, and are constantly getting,Network Busy displayed on your handset.

I cant really give an answer to that,as I have been a customer of Voda for 10 years now.So I have nothing to compare them with.I do seem to get the right deal at the right price all the time,so I put up with the little bits of problems.

Well i only switched because my gf is on it and so its cheaper for us to call each other. Not just that, i prefer free weekends to O2 unlimited (what i was on before). I have the same phone now as i had when i was on O2 which is an SE W910i and i have noticed the difference in signal. On O2 HSDPA would switch to 3G then back to EDGE then GPRS all the time. (not always in that exact order). On Vodafone however once an HSDPA or 3G signal once locked on usually stays. Since the phone has EDGE but Vodafone does not, that does not apply here. However it does switch back to GPRS occasionally but nowhere near as much as it did on O2

Should i get "network busy" on Vodafone or any other issues, i still carry an SE W850i on O2 just in case!
