That was because people felt sorry for him after simon gave him that awful song.

No it doesn't.

They released them because people demanded they do so after the Laura controversy. Ofcom investigated the show last year and they were found of no wrongdoing whatsoever. Give it up.

Interesting to see that Alex didn't do brilliantly for many of the shows.

On three out of five occasions, the judges booted out the person who hadn't received the lowest votes. On the other two they went to deadlock.

s0 laura did get more votes then Ruth that week. Mind you she was low down in the votes most weeks so it doesnt matter that the judges didnt save her.

Sympathy vote? No way. He was great & tonight proved just how mature he is at the very young age of 16. Think he showed up some of the previous losers. Can't be anything worse than going out on the Final night but he was so cheerful and happy - I believe he's just loved every second of this whole experience and has shown no bitterness at all - and also no sob stories along the way.

He was one of those people who are disliked by a majority of the voters. In the early stages his core vote puts him on top. As the number of contestants falls, it is much easier for the anti vote to be consolidated. He had a good solid following but only won one of the last 5 shows. He was never seriously going to win.

Gutted for Ruth, only 1% between her and Diana in Show 8 I suppose that's quite a lot, but still...

That's idiotic and not a little offensive.
So Eoghan only won 6 (SIX !) out of 10 shows because he was from Northern Ireland.
How ridiculous does that sound.
