You can smell the ambition to kick start her pathetic career every time she;s on screen. She has zero personality. Its like watching cold custard.

She doesn't entertain YOU... She does entertain others though.....

I like cold custard.......she can still dance though....Why all the negativity?

Rachel has provided me with some of the most thrilling dances of the series:

That raunchy Rhumba and two tantalising Tangos.

She's not an exuberant lass, she's a shy and gentle creature, but that doesn't make her any less endearing in my eyes.

Rachel is a sensational dancer and I am sick of seeing people have a go at her. Her partnership with Vincent is fantastic!

What does ambition smell like?

Cold custard maybe?

Thanks for sharing.
Your pain will soon be over, only three more (possibly brilliant) dances to seethe about.

Isn't this the 3pm one rather late? Or maybe it's the 4pm one a little early?

But it isn't just about dancing; the dancing gives way to giving a good performance and thus be entertaining.

If it was just a dancing competition then yes she would get 40 with every dance. But it isn't; she doesn't emote which is why she doesn't get 40 for every dance.

It is not just about dancing and technicalities

I also have to say that I agree with the OP

That's not what we heard when John Seregeant was progressing week after week!

I find Rachel and Vincent the most entertaining couple out there I love both their personalities and the dancing. You don't have to be Alesha to be entertaining.

I don't agree with the OP at all. Does that make me bland and boring too??

Rachel has been nothing short of friendly and charming throughout the whole series. Her dances with Vincent are the ONLY dances with make my pulse race faster.

You've got to strike a balance though

John was so far the other way - it was all performance and no technicality

Rachel is all technicality and no performance

Yes, she can "entertain" me any time. And she is not at all bland in all seriousness

And what's wrong with ambition anyway. You need ambition & vision to succeed in this world, you make the breaks and take advantage of opportunities. Contrary to what some might think, in this world success is not handed to you on a plate. you work for it.

In your opinion. IMO she is technically and performance-wise the best dancer from this series.

Can't agree with that.

Rachel danced her Rhumba with soul, her Waltz with warmth and tenderness and her Tangos were fierce.

Yes, I can agree with that. The rhumba was something else as well - passionate.

Beautifully put Sid - couldn't agree more.

Keep having deja-vu on these boards.

At least cold custard has something going for it - you can stick it in the microwave and eat it!
Suppose you could stick Rachel in a microwave - preferably for a long time!

I suppose everyone is entitled to their views, all we can do is continue to defend our girl - and I never tire of that
