Duchess of Kent a Strictly fan?

Was that the Duchess of Kent sitting behind June Whitfield on last night's show when Bruce did that little interview? I haven't seen the Duchess in public for years.

June is an amazing 83-years-old and I thought that was such a sweet thing she said to Bruce at the end: "They couldn't do it without you." How true!

Yep, that was her. We saw her too. I didn't know that either.

Just out of interest, the Duchess of Kent is no longer the Duchess. She chose to withdraw from the Royal Family and now calls herself Catherine Kent. This is, presumably, why she no longer makes public appearances.

Did not know that.

I thought I spotted her too!

I also enjoy the idea of the Queen sitting down on a Saturday and watching Strictly Come Dancing!

I don't think she necessarily made that decision without persuasion

She teaches music and also does a lot of charity work away from the spotlight. I miss her at Wimbledon , but I suppose she cannot withdraw from public life but still give out the prizes at the tennis championships. Shame.
