I do not want my vote carried forward to next week

I voted for Tom last night because I was only half paying attention to the leader board and assumed (wrongly) that Lisa and Rachel were not tied and as such Tom could survive the dance off. By the time I realised that this was not the case, I had voted for Tom as a tactical vote to save him from the dance off in the hope of a Lisa/Rachel dance off with Lisa to go (I detest Lisa more than liking any of the others).

However, I would prefer Rachel to win overall and as such I do not want my votes for Tom counting towards him winning the overall show. That is not what I voted on. I voted on what happened last night and not on what may or may not happen next week.

Some people (even at this stage) vote on the basis of their favourite dance of the night, and without seeing next week dances how can some contestants already have their votes?

I am not sure whether the BBC are legally correct in rolling forward votes to something different to that which was voted for.

Does anyone else have an issue with this particular part of last night's debacle.

(Just to clarify I do not have a problem with teh solution of putting all three through to next week as I believe legally the BBC had no choice).

I've written repeatedly that the votes should not be carried forward...it's just expediency...but I have no sympathy for voters whatsoever.
