These results will be added to the leader board and the couple with the lowest overall score will leave the competition.

If the judges' score doesn't count why bother to score? They don't score in the show dance, just comment. I'm afraid the judges still have their say on the final. Basically the person who has got 5 point from last week means that they are more popular than the other girl and so is likely to go through and win. The good thing is there's other possibilities too, unlike last week, which is impossible for Tom to escape the dance off.”

What we need is clairification before the final starts as to how many sets of votes we are getting

What we do know

dec13th 3-3-1
dec13th 1-2-3 (likely)
(As im sure if Tom didnt win the public vote they wouldnt have come up with this senerio)

If the judges vote

dec20th 1-3-2 (judges possible) meaning 5-8-6 before public vote
or

and whoever has 8 will be guarantted a position in the final

Now if the phone lines are opened before the judges scores are calculated you will be voting to save someone who does not need saved

Also as thier votes are not added on the final showdance as this starts from scratch then its a vote that is meaningless

In other words if the leader at the start gets the top marks from the judges the games up again and phone lines are not needed for them

There is a 94% chance that the BBC finding themselves in an impossible muddle will award 3 Glitterballs.

I can't think that the producers are stupid enough to have missed the possibility of ending up in last week's situation again... so if that option is the one they've gone for, it must be on the basis of what they know about last Saturday's public vote
