Thomson DTI6300 Full Disk - Can't delete recordings
Tom-e-Boy

Hi

Can anybody help? My (noisy as hell) Thomson DTI6300 has a full disk. It won't let me delete recordings. It allows me about 2 key strokes before it locks up totally. I can't get back to Live TV. I have to un-plug it (peace and quiet )and start again.

I can watch live TV, as long as I don't go back to the library.

Is there a way of re-booting the machine so that it clears the hard drive? I can't find anything in the (woefully inadequate User Manual).

Thanks

Tom

You can reformat the drive, but it sounds more like a corrupt recording that could be causing the problem.

You may need to turn the Library preview window off to delete the offending recording.

To turn off the preview do the following:

Menu > 4 setup > 6 help > 1397 engineer menu > 7 Disable library video window > Right green arrow and change to Yes.

Now press back and go into the Library and try and delete a recording
