Oh and the best girl dancers are always compared to Alesha or Jill yet the men never seem to be compared to previous champions

if there is a eastender in the mix - their partner to be Darren (except Louisa)

These are the best Quarter/semi/finalists we have ever had this is said every year ”

Indeed. It's just like the GSCE/A level results!

There is always at least one eastender, newsreader
The previous season's winning professional will be matched with a no-hoper
Vincent and whoever will be described as the perfect package
The scores will generally be:

Craig - x
Arlene - x + 1
Len - never less than seven
Bruno - Len

Sarah Manners, Matt Dawson, Emma Bunton and Christine Bleakley were all no-hopers?

If anything it's the runner-up professional who gets screwed.

camilla gets partnered with someone who is young or attractive or a combination of the two, but her personality keeps them from winning.

Arlene will lust after any male with a semi-decent body and will start to use sputtering alliterations.

"There's a romance/showmance/wedding/infidelity."

Other than Tom getting married, has there been any romance or rumours of infidelity??

I have to say the way Rache's boyfriend glares each week makes me laugh! You can tell he's not enjoying watching Rachel dance with another man

We all get a year older each series

craig elongates his syllables (am-az-ing, fab-u-lous) or spells out a word to make it more effective (D-U double L)

I don't remember Karen threatening to quit after series 3, 4 or 5

Craig will be allowed to sing on the last week of ITT

Forumites will work out in minute detail how many times a couple has appeared on ITT and argue about how unfair it is that x couple is ALWAYS on whereas y couple never is

Quizmike will produce the definitive statistical table that shows how much time each couple is actually on ITT

someone will ask if Darren's hair is a wig

there will be at least 10 threads devoted to whether people have had previous dance experience

a thread will be started asking for the removal of the appreciation threads from the front page

On the forum:

Woman don't vote for woman.

Bitchy and vicious if you don't like someone’s favourite.....or even the DS classic that you are jealous.

Perhaps you come to the boards less often and are told we have done this already with a yawn/rolls eyes.

Oh god yes that always happens and is totally boring!

Len will say, "Well, you came out and ...." roughly 600 times throughout the series.

Arlene will practically slide off her seat when a fairly attractive young man arrives to get his scores.

A new monster sized celebrity appreciation thread is born, and becomes glued to the front page forever more, even years after the celebrity was on the series.

People will claim that no-hopers are getting voted through because of their professional partners' fans, even though there are plenty of popular pros getting knocked out really early on.

Tess will refer to Rumbas as 'raunchy' no matter how beautiful and understated they are.

Arlene will use the phrase 'virile Viennese Waltz'.

Craig will give a perfect dance a nine just to annoy everyone, and then give a ten to something else not as good.

Darren got Gloria the year after he won- I think you could say he was screwed there! And Karen got Brian. The winning professional often seems to get someone middling to bad, but yeah the runner up is usually screwed- the main exception being Ian getting Zoe in SCD3.

Wasn't there a bogus rumour of romance between Denise and Ian in series two?

Series one also had a showmance/rumours/actual relationship between Martin and Erin.

Ian always seems to get celebs that are potentially fair to good - certainly no one you would look at and automatically assume have no chance for the overall like Gloria or Esther - but of course, he always has to battle the 'tall' card.

Perhaps it balances out!

Darren didn't get Emma the year after he won he got Gloria Hunniford.

With the exception of Matt Dawson, who producers probably thought was a no-hoper, yes they are.

No body makes anyone read these things and if you don't like them ignore them. How cares if some people still want to talk about Bill, Mark, or the three semi-finalists from last year - it doesn't hurt anyone else.
