How do you think the Salsa, Cha Cha Cha and Rumba will score?

It'll be interesting to see how you think the Latin Round of the Finale will turn out.

I think Rachel is almost a certain to score another perfect score.

I'm a little unsure about Lisa and Tom. I'm thinking that Tom will perhaps score a full row of 9's, and Lisa may possibly score a few 10's.

What do you think?

Yup. The judges will be critical of Tom at any stage now. He's clearly NOT their favourite at the moment.

In fact, Tom might get some eights.

I agree (and hope) Lisa's cha-cha will get some tens. And I do think if Rachel gets perfect 40 for her rhumba it might work AGAINST her from the viewers.

Well its the same routines isnt it so it was

Rumba 39

Cha Cha Cha 37

Salsa 35

The foxtrots were 40 for Rachel and 39's for the other two so it could come down to the battle of the Latin which I think Rachel will win, that Rumba was fantastic.

I was thinking the opposite with regards Tom's Latin. In terms of his comments with the judges he was told that he didn't make a connection with the spirit of the dance and was being "selfish" with it. Since then his storyline has been that he connected with the spirit of the dance (with critiques primarily focused around bashing Camilla's choreography and his technical skills). As such I'm expecting lots of "wow, a real improvement, you really connected with the material." I'm guessing 9,9,10,10 or 9,10,10,10

The other 2 the same or 1 higher than last time.

I'll be shocked if Rachel's rumba doesn't get a 40. In fact I anticipate seeing her rumba get a 40 and her foxtrot dropping to 39 (Len).

I don't know, Rachel has to really perform that Rhumba like she did last time - there was little room for improvement so the judges may not mark it so highly - potentially feeling that she didn't perform it as well as last time (don't shoot me, it's just a suggestion). With Lisa and Tom there is room for improvement in their dances so they may well surprise the judges and we could be surprised at the leader board after the latin round.

I just had a look at Tom's Salsa because I couldn't remember it. To my uneducated eye I thought it looked quite good. Very energetic! He might get a 10 from Len and Bruno. They will definitely be generous seeing as it's the final.

I loved Lisa's Cha Cha the first time round. 10 again from Len and Bruno.

I hope Rachel can do the Rumba as well the second time round, although I think part of my reason for loving it so much was because I was surprised. I'm guessing 10 from all but Craig.

So, I'm saying 38, 38 and 39.

Its foregone Rachel will be top, Lisa second and Tom third. That will be added to the score brought forward under the offside rule. Presumably they will then transfer that into places 1 to 3 because if they don't there is a good chance we get into the same position as last week. So, public added and I reckon Tom will come top of that. So, Lisa to leave.

Then we have the final. Showdance and VW. I can't see anyone beating Rachel in that she has everything going for her and Camillas choreography is pretty poor. Tom fans will vote but I don;t think the backlash vote will happen again as people will have run out of money from the first half.

Rachel to win but if she doesn't I don't care.

I won't be watching. Its boring now and I fancy popping out for a christmas drink. Family are impressed as with Jill, Ramps and Alesha I refused to leave the TV and even set up nibbles and fizz at home so people could feel christmassy while I was watching TV and voting like a madwoman.

Like with Alesha's Waltz last year I can see someone not getting a 40 because Len is in a bad mood "It would have been a 10 but those shoes make your ankles look fat so I'm gonna have to knock a point off"

Tom's salsa will score lowest out the latins but I LOVE his salsa and the music!

But the reason Rachel didn't get 40 first time round for the Rumba was because Craig didn't like the choreography (something along the lines of it being too rude if I remember correctly) so if that still stands she may get 39 again. I thought it was overscored to begin with.

The scores may also be affected by the producers having a word with the judges for their scoring, comments etc.

Chances are they haven't but it will depend on whether the BBC think last week was a fluke and their fault for not having a contingency plan for a tie or that the judges were partly to blame with their scoring

I'm not saying any of that's true! Just a possibility!

No, it wasn't a choreography issue with Craig... I think he meant that "rude" thing as a positive.I think he saw a few minor flaws.

I don't know how to take that Were you being snappy with me or am I over-reading it?

He may have said it on ITT. If he did, I didn't see it.

Not at all! Twas said all in good cheer, 'onest!

I was just accepting that what I said was probably wrong as I couldn't remember correctly, and where I thought I heard it, that's all. Hope that clears it up!

I'd say the Rumba will get 38-40, the CCC 35-38 and the salsa 36-37 taking into account all the judges' peculiarities in voting on a whim

I thought Craig said on ITT that he thought the Rumba was too lewd, hence why he didn't give a 10. I can't see him changing his opinion if the routine is the same, so i still see that getting 39.

I think Craig and Brian did have a little ding dong about the rumba on ITT Brian asked CRaig why he didnt give it a 10 and Craig said it was a bit lewd and Brian shouted at him saying ;it was so not' however I dont think thats the real reason he only gave 9 he just doesnt give 10s so often as the others.

I did find Craig's comments slightly baffling.

Despite her status as a pin-up, I've never felt Rachel gives off an obvious sexiness.

Is it just me, or does she come across as rather innocent?

She proved to me not to judge a book by it's cover because my preconceptions of the girl were very different.

The Rhumba wasn't sexually charged and sordid in my opinion - it was tender and sensual and quite beautiful.

For me the rhumba was Rachel's best dance and was in no way lewd. It was far superior to Cherie's imo because it contained more dancing as opposed to striking up poses. It's the one dace also where there does seem to be a genuine connection and intensity. It's an excellent choice for the final and both Lisa and Tom will struggle to beat it. I predict Rachel, Lisa then Tom. I find Tom somewhat ungainly when doing fast Latin dances.

Foregone conclusion - 4 10's for Rumba
Then
At least 2 10's (final) from Len/Bruno for Salsa.

At least 3 10's from len/Bruno/Arlene for Cha Cha (Hopefully).

Keeping my fingers crossed Lisa & Brendan make it & get to do Show-dance. Given lack of public votes for Lisa (dance-offs).

Rachel has it in the bag!!!! - But I'm still hoping for Lisa & Brendan to raise the trophy!!
